Sunset dining at its best! Pacific’O is located on Lahaina's most beautiful white sand beach with panoramic views of three neighboring islands. This was the chosen residence and "playground" for Hawaiian royalty; here ancient kings and queens feasted and made merry. Today, enjoy the same pleasures in Pacific'O's open air dining room or on the romantic beachside patio. Long recognized as a leader in local, organic dining; Pacific'O was the first to establish their very own island farm. Each day the table is set with just harvested macrobiotic vegetables and fruit; and local fishermen deliver fresh fish still dripping from the sea. Pacific'O is a local favorite since opening in 1993.

Wow. What a night. The staff took great care of us. It was our 26th wedding anniversary and we were welcomed with congratulations and a thoughtful note on our table wishing us a "Happy Anniversary". Brook, our server, was awesome. She was always there for us all night. Our table was right next to the beach. The sunset was so beautiful from our table. The food was incredible. The Lobster Ravioli... Mahi and Ahi were perfectly prepared. Overall a wonderful evening at Pacific'O.
Perhaps The Gem of Lahaina
We dined here many years ago and it left a very favorable impression. Once again, our dining experience did NOT disappoint. Definitely worth the drive from Kapalua. Easy parking options. The greeting at the door set the tone for a really fantastic dining experience. Our server, Jeremy, made excellent suggestions. He paced us nicely, no rushing at all. Although there were nice tables, outdoors - we opted to dine inside. Hedge separates the outside dining area from the sandy beach. Indoors, we sat up a bit higher and we felt we could best view the ocean, sand and the INCREDIBLE SUNSET. Most everyone else preferred the outside tables. Neither seating area will disappoint. The lobster ravioli appetizer was unique with a really flavorful beet sauce. Yes, beet, and it was AMAZING. We shared the ravioli and also the Surfing Goat Cheese salad. WOW. The greens were incredibly fresh from the owners farm. The tomato dressing was light and tasty, unique. The Hawaiian Prawns, cooked with heads on, were simply delicious and served with equally flavorful Diver Scallops. Our cocktails were very good, handcrafted margarita and a single malt scotch were both reasonably priced. We found wines by the glass and bottle to be a good variety and priced extremely fair. Our meal, over wall, was excellent. This establishment has it all, great view, reasonably priced, excellent service, and a Chef that knows how to prepare the FRESHEST farm to table and sea to table food. OMG! It is in our top 3 of restaurants in Maui.
We just got their for the sunset...it was magic, the food, the wine , the service. The quality in every details was "au rendez-vous".
Fresh, local cuisine and dining on the beach
2nd visit to Pacific'O. The setting, on the beach, is very nice. The food is local and, of course, the fish is fresh. Service could have been more attentive.
Luvthisplace. Everyone we visit wecome here. Food well prepared....service excellent! Luv O'ofarms too!!
Pacific'O is wonderful Once Again
This is a gem on the beach in Lahaina in Maui--beautiful setting, delicious, creative and stunning food. We loved trying mixed drinks at the bar first, then eating by moonlight on the beach. We always save it for our very "special night" in Maui
On the sand
The farm to table food here is SO GOOD! We have been here a couple of times and the food is so fresh and priced right. The sunset here is beautiful as well. Its at the far end of Lahaina and fun to stroll into town after, to walk off the fabulous food! Friendly staff and setting make it one to go see/eat at! You wont regret it!

Always a perfect experience Great sunset, great service Great food
Our anniversary reservations at pacific'O lead to a beautiful table outside along the beach. My wife was greeted by our waiter, Jamie, with a beautiful, real flower lei. Jamie was a great waiter and was very attentive to our needs. The food was excellent and the portion were great Truly a memorable night, thsnks so much.

Best meal on Maui
We had dinner here on our last evening on Maui and it was one of the highlights of our trip. The lobster ravioli was a dish we will remember for a very long time - it was outstanding. Will be back on our next vacation.

One of the nicest, if not THE nicest restaurants we experienced in Hawaii! Just go!! Get there about 5:00, have a fresh "Farm drink" and get an early seating. FYI, that area of downtown doesn't look appealing from Front St., but the restaurant is phenomenal.
Great food and beautiful sunset.
Great food but service unusually slow. A dining experience. My ahi was overcooked and sent back. Our salads were wonderful and other seafood dishes great. Took a long time to get deserts and then to get check. Really over two and half hours for five of us to dine on salads, seafood entres and then desert. I love this restaurant so I hope this is an unusual occurrence.

The food was excellent and the location on the beach is the nicest place we visited on Maui. The service as average and not what we have experienced at other similar reastaurants.

Should have stopped in sooner!
Finally found time to stop in at Pacifc'O and regret not having done so sooner. What a beautiful setting and great food. 4 of us tried different entrees and shared them and all were perfectly prepared and delicious. Highly recommended.
Love, love, love Pacifico!
We ate at Pacifico 3 times during our 2 weeks vacation on Maui. Just couldn't bring ourselves to go to any other restaurant because we didn't think any other restaurant could compare. And the setting is exquisite and we usually try to go for the sunset. The staff is very friendly and the waiters are very solicitous. Their fresh vegetables from their farm are exceptional . Couldn't ask for anything more!

You truly can't go wrong here. We've never been disappointed. Everything is so fresh and fantastic flavors.
Maui Sunset Gem
Beautiful, outside, beachfront table for two situated for perfect sunset viewing. We arrived at 6:00 p.m. in time for a drink and Lobster Ravioli appetizer (Shiitake mushrooms, onions, fennel, marsala cream sauce, truffle oil) and lovely sunset. My wife had Scallops (Fresh diver scallops, quinoa, pine nuts, mint, grilled asparagus, pea tendril, tomato reduction, cilantro pesto) and I had Kona Winds Grilled Fish (Tonight fresh Ahi, medium rare, O’o Farm greens, sprouts, macadamia nuts, avocado and Maui onion salsa, surfing goat cheese, jasmine and black Thai rice, bacon soy vinaigrette). Appetizer and meals were fresh and flavorful. They were cooked perfectly and presented well. With regard to value it isn't that Pacific'o is outrageously priced, just a fact of prices on Maui. However, the service kind of backfired. It appeared there was limited wait staff (although the restaurant was not busy)and that the wait staff is either coached to, or on their own chat with diners. While this is a pleasant experience, the limited staff and tendency of our server to focus on one particular table, left us waiting for our wine order with the meal that never came. Hopefully, this is the exception, rather than the norm, because overall good experience with one highly distracting flaw.

Had heard great things about this restaurant but we were not impressed. Food was ok, service was adequate but not up to what we expected.
We love Pacifico!
The setting is very special. We love to watch the sunset over the island of lanai. More importantly, the food is absolutely spectacular with very Eclectic dishes to choose from. We plan to return at least two more Times while here in Maui!

The food was terrific. I had the fish special. Others at the table had the Red Risotto or seared Ono. All were excellent. The atmosphere is lovely. My only comment was that the service was disjointed. We were left with only water for a while. Then two different people came by to take a drink order. That type of confusion continued thru the service. Otherwise I would have given them 5 stars
Great locally sourced food. Outstanding service. Great experience.

Every year when we come to Maui we have dinner at Pacifc'O. Otis always wonderful. The food and drinks are great, the service superb and the view is amazing. It is quite a romantic spot. One year we watched as a young man proposed to his girlfriend as they watched the luau next door. Sunset at Pacific'O is quite romantic.

Gods food and setting, seemed VERY understaffed, our waitress was sprinting from table to table and handled it well but clearly had to many customers.
What a change. So disappointed.
Pacific'O used to be our favorite restaurant on the island. With each return visit to Maui, my husband and I looked forward to our dinners at Pacific'O. We were excited to take our boys there with this first-time family trip, but left disappointed and just sad that we would no longer have this special restaurant to look forward to. While the food was still very good -- we tried some of their new offerings which were fresh, unique and delicious - the service was so bad that it completely negated our food and the beautiful setting. Specifically, we never once had our water glasses, iced tea or drinks refilled after asking three times (waiter twice, table clearer once). We literally ate our meal with no beverages of any kind -- despite even asking the hostess to send someone over after our simple asks were completely ignored. Our food was brought out by support staff, which is customary, but our waiter never once checked back with us. Our boys are older, so it was not a matter of having young children or anything high maintenance whatsoever (which shouldn't matter anyway). My husband literally had to get up and ask our waiter to bring us our check. We had planned to enjoy dessert and coffee, but instead, couldn't wait to leave. So disappointing for what used to be a friendly, beautiful dining experience.

Great dinner in wonderful setting
Great dinner ! We went at 6:30 but go a little earlier in February for sunset view while eating. Lovely food. Great service. All good. Luau next door was a little distracting. So go earlier so u don't have to listen to competing music
Great sun set
Sit at 5:45 so u can get a great seat outside to enjoy the sunset. Ask for Scotty to serve you. He makes it a fun night.
We have been to Pacifico's many times in the past, always enjoying the ambience and food, a great deal. This time, however, was different. We were disappointed in the food and, as we had guests, who paid for the party, we were very embarrassed. All of us agreed that the fish that was cooked was dry and overcooked. One of our party had a salad/fish entree that was a lot of green and a small piece of fish, and not tasty at that. That seemed to be the theme of the dinner. Not tasty, overcooked and consequently, way overpriced. My husband (whose birthday it was) ordered a steak, medium well. It came out medium rare. All in all, we were not pleased and have no plans to return again. Very disappointed.
A new favourite! Great food, service, view.
What a find. Been coming to Maui since 1983 and didn't know it was here. Wonderful food, service, beautiful setting. Had shrimp wonton appetizer, shared the tomato onion goat cheese salad with my husband. I had the ahi which was prepared perfectly and my husband had the fish special. Desert was the bread pudding which was perfection.

Being a foodie and long time Lahaina contributors, we gave Pacific O another opportunity to be wowed. We had eaten here a few years ago, appetizers only, and came back for dinner last week. The waiter was lackluster and couldn't be bothered with friendly chat, but was delightful when he brought us the bill. Appetizers were tasteless and uneventful. The food combinations were odd and did not seem to complement each other. For example, I had fresh fish served on warmed salad greens over white/black rice (didn't see any black but the dish was covered in greens and it was dark so it may have been there) with a splat of quasi, unflavorful guacamole. As I said, the combo was odd and lacked flavor and continuity. The other 3 guests in our party were equally unimpressed with their meals, though too polite to mention. The plates were way overpriced. A $300 for 4, two appetizers, 2 drinks and for entrees (no dessert). Unfortunately Lahaina Grill was booked for our birthdays; we should have cooked at home.
Fun at Pacific'O
We had a great evening at Pacific'O. All four of us truly enjoyed our seafood dishes. Very nice wine selection. Went for the sunset but a storm made that not as interesting. The staff was so helpful and knowledgable.
