Out of the Fire Ratings and Reviews
From the waitstaff to the food, everything was perfect. The combinations the chef creates are wonderful. The waitstaff suggested a perfect wine, with tastings of that one and others allowed prior. The serving sizes are perfect.

Service and food were both very good. Angela our server was knowledgable and charming. We hope to be back when we are back in town.
I visited during Restaurant week April 7th to Out of the Fire with my grown children and two of their friends. The food was Great. The laid back atmosphere allowed us to revisit some of their high school antics and enjoy being together. The night got better when my daughter & our server realized they were class mates in the 2nd grade and 25 years later recognized each other. That was crazy. Overall a wonderful evening for catching up.

Wonderful food, great service. A comfortable place to enjoy creative cooking and healthy food. We left happy.
It seems that most of your items have a"kick" to them, even when unexpected. Could we be advised of the "heat " level at order time...or even on the menu.
Warm Spot on a Cold Night
We enjoyed a wonderful meal near the glow of the wood burning oven. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. Great spot in Easton!
A very nice experience.
A nice place. Good food, well prepared. A unique menu. A nice casual atmosphere. We took friends from out of town and they were impressed. We will definitely go again
Out of the Fire remains my favorite restaurant in Easton. The food is interesting, outstanding, healthy and fresh. The owner and staff are welcoming and accommodating. The decor is art work from local artists which changes every few months. And the Goldsborough shops are all worth a visit! Out of the Fire is a gem of Easton.

Solid food, as always. Indulged in the date/cheddar cheese/marcona almond salad before diving in to the specialty pizza of the evening: chicken confit wth roasted garlic and rosemary oil. The pizzas are enough for two to share, so keep that in mind (that way, you can try a yummy salad or dessert and not feel "too" guilty). One of the best places for upscale casual dining in Easton.

Love the pizza fired in the oven. Great tasting crust. Great service, well-timed, attentive even with a busy house. Oyster mushroom, pecan, ricotta pasta dish wowed taste buds too.
Out of the Fire is out of this world!
Had the a most excellent evening at Out of the Fire in celebratiin of our 10th wedding anniversary. Food, service, ambience couldn't have been better!
Nice stop on the road or when visiting Easton
We stopped at this restaurant for lunch on a trip to another location on the Eastern Shore. The food was very good--simple dishes well prepared. Most of the diners appeared to be locals who come often, always a good sign. As the name might suggest, they have excellent wood-fired pizzas but other items on the menu were equally good.
Out of The Fire never disappoints. An ever changing menu with innovations and wonderful pizzas. And don't overlook the deserts. My favorite Restaraunt in Easton.
Delicious, as always
A friend and I went recently to celebrate our birthdays. Everything that we ordered was really good. Great house chard. Amy (owner, I believe) is always out and about checking on customers. She even comped us a Crème brûlée for our birthday. The food is very fresh, including the breads. I eat here for the most part, when in Easton.
This is my all time favorite in Easton
Has been around for more than 10 years. Offers a great variety of food and dining experiences. For just 2 people, the food bar is great fun. Watch the dishes being made. Or try the drink bar. Quieter, in the back of the restaurant. For larger groups, get a table. The daily specials are always great and the menu changes frequently. Try it!
We're in DC but THIS is our favorite pizza!
The crust, the seasoned tomato sauce, the incredible topping combinations -- we LOVE Out of the Fire's pizzas! We only wish we lived closer (we're in DC)! Husband's family draws names for Christmas; we asked for an Out of the Fire gift certificate and used in during a Christmas get-away to the Eastern Shore. Yum!
The menu is good, but the actual dishes don't quite hit it out of the park. The kale salad had way too much dressing and it was very sweet to boot...too sweet. I had the cuban sandwich which was a bit too greasy and had more horseradish then it needed. A dining partner had the turkey brie sandwich and also said it was a bit too greasy. Another dining partner had the burger and said it was excellent. Our waitress was very nice but not present. She never checked on us after delivering the meal, did not notice our $11 & $12 drinks were empty for most of our meal, missing a bigger tab. I appreciate the organic approach, the portions are generous but the food is still overpriced. I think they are on track but could use a little more work.

I thought the food was ok, not over the top I think they have a good idea on farm to table but there are better restaurants in Easton this is not my favorite but overall and okay experience we'll have to try again
I love Out of the Fire and frequent it often. The food and service are always exceptional. Fresh and local ingredients and unique creations keep me coming back for more. The Kale and Pumpkin Salad is off the charts good and if you opt to negate the calories you save with the salad and have the Orange White Chocolate Mousse for dessert, you won't be disappointed! Go there...now!
The chef has taken the finest ingredients, which are always organic, and made lovely dishes. We've been before and shall return. You can't go wrong, whether it is a gourmet pizza or one of the specials. The portions are perfect. The location is in the historic downtown. Full of charm.

The bartender was our server and she was terrific. Food had unusual combos that were really tasty. Try the special small plate of grilled cauliflower, turnip, turnip greens, walnut pesto and parm cheese -outstanding Steak was wonderful, gingerbread, molasses ice cream was worth every calorie-loved it!
Very nice for casual dining.
The service was wonderful. The food very good. My husband and I shared the Meze appetizer, which was excellent and very filling. For the entree, I had the chicken stir fry, recommended by our server, and while the flavor was good, I found the chicken to be pretty dry and a little spicier than I like. It is not served with rice or any kind of starch, so there is nothing to balance out the heat. As for the ambiance, let's just say it's not the place for a romantic dinner for two. There are no partitions between tables and we could hear the details of the conversation at the table behind us. Much more info then I require. Overall, a great place that serves locally sourced food, but don't expect quiet.
Excellent hazelnut fettuccine and Branzino. Always an unbeatable surprise added to the chef's specials.
Great for innovative and interesting food
We eat here fairly frequently and find it to be very interesting for unusual and extremely well prepared dishes. ?The pizza is very thin, very tasteful and extremely well done. We had their pasta for the first time and it, too, was outstanding. Can be very busy and somewhat noisy (on weekends) but is usually conducive to comfortable conversation.

Relaxed and convivial atmosphere, knowledgeable staff and involved owner, creative cooking with emphasis on local and organic ingredients make Out of the Fire our favorite "go to" spot in Easton.

Out of the fire had an off night. The pasta was undercooked, the pizza was overcooked, and the salads were drowned in cheese. Service was very slow as well.
What a find!!
Folks, this is pizza nirvana!! I'm not talking about your run of the mill pepperoni, cheesy slab of breaad, I talking locally sourced, fresh ingredients that don't usually find themsevles in a brick fired oven. I had locally cured ham, goat cheese and charred onion, it was FABULOUS!! My husband was rendered speechless by the oyster pot pie!!

My daughter's 12th birthday....she loves Out of the Fire! The maitaki mushroom pizza is a standout though all their wood fired pizzas are wonderful. The space is beautiful...artwork is changed frequently and provides the feeling of having a meal in a gallery. Cool space...great food.
Been here many times and almost always have had a great experience. This time was no different. Great choices on the menu, and the food was great. My continuing criticism, as a Martini aficionado... they have the lightest pour on the shore. I won't order a martini here and its my favorite cocktail!
Fancy Pizza Joint
Very popular place, fairly limited menu with high quality ingredients. Pizza was good but did not match the hype.
Fabulous as Always
Always excellent selections and food quality. Our guest from DC was truly impressed with the quality and artistic atmosphere of this neighborhood gem.
Lovely gem for lunch
If you are in the mood for amazing pizza in an authentic wood burning oven - this is your place. They also have outstanding sandwiches!!
This restaurant is a favorite when visiting in Easton. The menu is diverse and the food and service are excellent!

Service was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Food was fresh, tasty and just the right amount. Cocktails were perfectly crafted and the wine list, while brief, had an adequate range of selections. We'lll be back-soon!

Food was over the top. We enjoyed every dish. Service was just fine especially for a busy evening.
Not worth it
The rainbow trout was good, but very much overpriced for the portion, especially when you consider Bonefish Grill not only has trout at $16.50 as opposed to the $21 Out of the Fire charges for the same serving size, but many other gluten-free options, as well. When there are less than a dozen customers at the beginning of the dinner shift, it's to be expected (normally) that the server will be very attentive, as there are as yet no other demands on his/her time. Not so in my case. My server was too busy chatting up the lone patron at the bar and flirting with a blonde waitress to even check that I'd gotten the proper meal until it was 2/3 eaten. Neither I nor any of my fellow MS Challenge Walkers will be returning.
Personal favorite in the whole area
Very personal service, customers are greeted by name. The specials each day are tasty, fresh and original. The food is usually exceptional (yesterday it was *only* good) but we had a perfect lunch.

I now understand why my mother and all her girlfriends have been raving about this place ever since I was in middle school. The food, service and beverages were all divine and I appreciate the effort to source food locally. Well done.
Best in Easton
This is our go to restaurant in Easton, MD. We had dinner there before a concert at the Avalon on a Saturday night and the food, atmosphere, and especially the service were top notch. Amy, the owner, has been a fixture at this establishment for years and it is obvious that her enthusiasm and care have made Out of the Fire a winner.
Out of the Fire never fails to please
Whether it's for a quick lunch, dinner with friends, or a romantic evening, Out of the Fire never ceases to amaze or please. Organic, farm-fresh ingredients, well prepared, and served by a friendly, gracious, and attentive staff. Don't miss it.
