Sustainable Sources & Superior Quality

We at No Coast Sushi value our resources and environment by purchasing our fish from fish purveyors who pledge to only fish in season, in stream fish without nets. We also purchase some fish, such as Yellowtail, from sustainable farms to help protect them as they are currently being overfished.
We fly our fish in from Honolulu Hawaii three times a week.

Our kitchen also gets deliveries of organic and/or hormone antibiotic free meats two times a week. We also purchase some locally grown produce when in season and continue to pledge to buy more each year.
We make 99% of all of our items in house including our sauces and drink mixes.
We care about our food, it"s quality, presentation and your enjoyment.
Our restaurant is urban modern with an active up-beat vibe.

Please join us and experience what sushi can be.

My wife and I frequent No Coast, and we are never disappointed. The service is always good and the servers are knowledgeable. The Japanese cuisine is top notch. Highly recommended.

It's always a concern eating sushi in a land locked state, but No Coast is as good as and coastal, big city restaurant I've been to. You'll definitely have a good sushi experience here!!

Always wonderful

Dined on November 22, 2015

My husband and I come here regularly some times once a week. It is consistently wonderful. The online reservations are a plus too. We keep forgetting they are open for lunch now too. Can't wait to try them out for lunch. The staff is always appropriate and respectful. It's a very relaxed atmosphere. Most of our special occasions are celebrated here (birthdays, anniversaries, Bachelorette party, get together with old friends ).

No Coast is the best sushi restaurant in town, and their miso soup is the best we've had since we left San Diego. Great food. Great service.

Absolutely outstanding! Most of the seafood is from sustainable fisheries and each dish is a work of art. We try to visit every time we are in Grand Junction.

Things have changed!

Dined on August 18, 2015

We have been going to no coast since it opened. OUR FAVORITE sushi display is the surf and turf. This dish was not what we expected and we did not think it was very good. Great service, but they seated us facing big picture window and the light was so bright we could not see the faces of our dinner companions facing us.

We continue to come back to No Coast because they are by far the best Sushi restaurant we have ever ate at!!! We are pleased every time and will continue to come here for as long as they are there !!! I can't say enough about the manager Michael, he goes beyond expectations to make your dining experience perfect and relaxed! Love it there .

Didn't like waiting.

Dined on August 2, 2015

All in all service and food were great! Didn't like waiting initially for more of my party to join us before being seated. That was terrible. We were told it was because they didn't want the waiter to have to keep going back and forth for drinks with the additional people. Dinner reservations were at 6:45p. Yet we waited until after 7:10 to be seated.

Graduation Dinner

Dined on May 17, 2015

We dined at North Coast to celebrate my daughters CMU graduation. I am happy North Coast takes reservations and had my table ready when we arrived. It was a busy evening for them but the service was still great and the rolls came out perfect and fast. Thank you!

Great Sushi and Great Vibe

Dined on April 18, 2015

We visit No Coast Sushi about 6 times a year. We usually go for date nights or for small group dinners. When we have guests in from out of town we try to take them to No Coaat (if they appreciate sushi). We always get great service and amazing food.

We were seated quickly per reservation. Attentive wait staff was knowledgable and helpful in choosing food items. Food was beautifully prepared and delicious. Noise is a bit overwhelming and dress code of staff was a bit beneath the wonder of this restaurant. Very good experience!

Had a great meal. The service was prompt and friendly. We had a few dietary concerns that required some adjustments to the listed choices. These were met without a problem, and treated as if they were no big deal to the staff. Our experience was very consistent with prior meals. As good as it gets !

Service lacked a little.

Dined on April 6, 2013

Service lacked a little. The lady was very friendly but a little unfocused for our requests. We asked for edamame and had to remind her after our soup had arrived. I also asked for a house salad and she did not remember until our food came out, so I cancelled it. She was pleasant but forgettful.

Great place, few bad things

Dined on February 13, 2013

I really love No Coast, the service was fast and the food (as always) was excellent. However, one thing that did bother me about the place (only reason I did not put 5 stars) was that our waiter was wearing shorts. I work at a very high-end restaurant and notice these things, and usually they are not a big deal, but it was just a little unprofessional. Other than that, I would definitely go back!
