Mykonos Grill Ratings and Reviews
Not from the area, but if we were, we'd eat there regularly - food very good to excellent. Superb service.
fabulous food, great service
Food was fantastic! service very friendly. atmosphere great. decor beautiful. We have always had a Lovely experience at mykonos.
Everything was good!
Our experience this time with Myknos was much more pleasant than the prior visit. We didn 't fee rushed and had a very pleasant experience with delicious food. I had the combination platter, which was very good.
We always like Mykonos Grill.
We always like Mykonos Grill. The Service is always excellent as is the food. People we have taken there are still raving about it. The appetizers are especially good. Try the lamb meatballs.
Have been there many times and will return. Only disappointment: our preferred server was not working that night. The server we had was at best, adequate. He completely forgot our salads and brought the main course 45 minutes later. When we inquired about the salads his response was "oh yeah." He took back our entrees and then brought the salads. This probably was an unusual night. Normally, and with our preferred waiter, we have a most pleasant evening with no snafus.
Mykonos Grill - solid player no pretention
Just a very good local Greek restaurant. Dinning room is nicely decorated (Greek Island feel). Servis a little abrupt (but responsive and helpful) and that is part of the appeal (kind of like the old Jewish delis in NYC). Food was great - our table had lamb, fish and chicken dishes - all very well prepared and presented. Appetizer plate for the table was excellent. Baklava for desert was very good. Just a perfect place for a solid Greek meal, local if you live in the area with easy parking.
Mykonos is our favorite restaurant in the Gaithersburg/Rockville area. The food, service and friendliness are great.

Our favorite place. Good food, good service and lively atmosphere !
We've been to the restaurant many times over the years and it has never disappointed. Great food as always. Many of the wait staff have been there for a long time and make returning guests feel at home. We will be back.
Back in Greece
Consistently delicious Greek favorites. The fish is always tasty.

Absolutely the best restaurant in Montgomery County. And so reasonably priced.
I love this restaurant!
Mykonos never fails me. We always have delicious food, prepared perfectly. They always are well staffed with attentive waiters. And they learn quickly who you are and welcome you back!
We have dined at Mykonos Grill many times and have never been disappointed. From the staff to the food all things are excellent. The staff is courteous and has excellent knowledge of the menu and wine list. We are partial to the fish entrees with a Greek sauvignon blanc. The restaurant itself is warm with white blue coloring. The noise level is one where normal conversation is easy to maintain. TRY IT YOU'LL LIKE IT.

A very talented chef. And the service, like usual, was excellent. Can't wait to go again!
Nice Atmosphere, Great Food
Given the modest location, on a side street next to an ordinary suburban shopping center, I expected the food to be OK but nothing special. It was WONDERFUL! Way better than expected. Our group was especially impressed by appetizers and small plates (we shared a lot of them).

Mykonos in Rockville never fails to provide outstanding Greek food with delightful service! I always try to go there every time I am back in the DC area. It truly is a neighborhood gem.
Great food and ambiance
This neighborhood gem has been there a long time and never disappoints. The food is amazing and well priced. It is also incredible that even when crowded, the noise level is acceptable and the service super.
Perfect as usual
For me finding the perfect dining experience means it's consistently good. We tend to frequent places we love because who has time to waste on a terrible meal? I am Greek which means I am very critical of Greek cooking. The cooking and preparation of the food at Mykonos is always superb. Whether you want comfort food, authentic cuisine or to impress your date this is the place to come. Family owned and operated, you will never be disappointed with your meal at Mykonos!!! PS the bread is so gooooood. If just the bread is good than you can imagine how wonderful everything else will be.

Good Greek Food
This is a very good local restaurant, . The only slight negative is when the restaurant is full or close to full, it can be noisy and you need to speak in a raised voice. the service was ok, but not great.
Excellent Greek Restaurant
Mykonos has maintained its quality over many years, providing excellent and consistently reliable Greek cuisine. I--and many others--look forward to the wonderful bread and seasoned olive oil, before anything else. The avgolemono soup is wonderful, the lamb is succulent, and the many typical Greek specialties are delicious. I have been there many times over the years, and always look forward to returning.
Another delicious and delightful evening at Mykinos!!! Everyone enjoyed the meals, however one plate came out of the kitchen lukewarm. Service was excellent, and the desserts are always amazing!!

The food and service are consistently excellent. I can highly recommend the Rock Fish fillet and the Sea Bass.
Very Good Food, But too Much Salt
The food at the Mykonos Grill was very good, but it had far too much salt, as we discovered the next morning. My lamb was excellent, but others in the party felt that the food did not taste "Greek enough." I also found the tables to be too close together and the noise level to be rather high.
Greek Night Out
Mykonos Grill is one of favorite spots for our weekly Wednesday date night dinners. The food is always great and so is the service. We always have a delightful dinner and once in awhile I've been their for lunch with work colleagues. When we are in the mood for Greek we think of Mykonos.
Hidden gem. Very fresh food. Great service. Greek salad was so fresh. Osso bucco over orzo was delicious. Our waiter felt it was too fatty and brought us out more. Could not have been better!

Took a while for waiter to show up to our table, despite the fact that there were [including us] only four parties in the entire restaurant at the time. Complimentary bread had rock hard crust. Split Tzatziki for appetizer; delicious. Husband ordered Kreatomezes; he liked it. I ordered Roasted Leg of Lamb; I liked it (FYI, it comes with green beans and potatoes; for some reason, the sides for this dish aren't listed on the menu). Split Rice Pudding for dessert; delicious. Small, quiet restaurant with decent food and service.

Had the feta and spinach stuffed rainbow trout. It was excellent!
A wonderful meal for six
A great bottle of Retsina, fantastic olive oil and good bread -- followed up by an assortment of entrees, all delicious. Some of us were Greek by heritage and others by adoption, so we knew what Greek food should be. We were not disappointed.

My wife and I have been frequenting Mykonos for years. It remains among the best Greek Restaurants in this area. The quality of the food is consistently high; the service always friendly and efficient; and the ambiance warm. Mykonos remains one of our favorite places to celebrate birthdays and special events.

The food was excellent and a good value--I had the hot vegetarian platter and every item was delicious. The wine was a bit expensive but they pour a generous glass. The service was a bit slow. It was very much too warm in the dining room.
Greek Valentine Day
We went to our favorite restaurant on Valentine's Day and had a wonderful time. We are bias but, since the restaurant was crowded with people waiting, we were not alone in our feelings. The restaurant offered three fixed price offerings from appetizers to desert. The choices were enough to satisfy anyone. On top that the service was outstanding. A Greek restaurant not to be missed.
A good meal on Valentine's Day
is hard to find. However, they did a nice job with 3 fixed price menus to choose from that were not terribly pricey for the large amount of food. Rockfish and branzino were both prepared well. Appetizers were good. Salad was adequate. Apple cake for dessert was too much for one person, but quite tasty. Overall a very good meal, especially for Valentine's Day.
These folks are seasoned pros. From the greeting at the door to the round of drinks through dessert, everything is easy, stress-free and delicious. For me, the quality of the gin martini says a lot, and theirs was excellent. The waiter's advice was on target for the food as well as helpful toward us saving money ordering a certain way. The owner was a watchful presence and that always is reassuring. And the lamb is the best around.
Still great Greek/Meditteranean
Hadn't been here in awhile, but were in the neighborhood, so we went on the spur of the moment. Didn't disappoint years ago and didn't disappoint this time either. Excellent food, beautiful Greek isles setting, and excellent service, all at a moderate price for what you get.
Superb Greek cuisine, authentic, great service!
As a Greek-American who grew up in Crete and Athens, it's tough finding Greek food that reminds me of my grandmother's (GiaGia's) dishes of my youth. Mykonos Grill has the best and most authentic Greek cuisine in the Washington DC area. The tzatziki is thick, creamy, with a heavy garlic dill flavor. The country salad (horiatiki) is simple with tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and feta. The lamb rigonato (tender roasted lamb with oregano) served w/ lamb-basted potatoes and green beans (fasolada) with tomato was excellent. My wife had the seafood youvetsi (orzo pasta) with a light tomato sauce; also execellent. Dessert was a warm piece of galactoboureko (it was actually bogatsa, for those who have been to Hraklion and the famous "3-Lions Plaza" just up the street from the ferry boat landing) - dusted with powdered sugar and lightly drizzled with honey. The food was only bested by the personal attention paid by the owner and wait staff. Our server was a young Greek man, here studying at the Univ of MD, who was both friendly and efficient with our service. We will go again, and would highly recommend the Mykonos Grill if you want to experience what Greek food should taste like. - Manny and Aimee Kokotakis
I ordered the rock fish, as always. It is my go to dish. Not anymore. The fish was filled with bones, I nearly swallowed them a few times. Once I finished picking out the bones, the fish was mutilated, but I ate it any way. Why didn't I return it? Because after it was served, the waiter never came back until it was time to sell dessert. SMH. This neighborhood gem, was disappointing.
