    we enjoyed our meal and had an excellent server plus all the support staff were friendly and professional. seated upstairs was a bit noisy and i prefer the open feel of the lower level. most restaurants have increased prices of dishes and it seems extreme in some cases. that said the dishes were all excellent.

    Service was terrible, perhaps they were understaffed. For a pricey menu with ok food, my party of 5 (all guests, 1st time) expected much better service. Had to get up three times to find a waiter to take our order, to refill waters, and to clear table...I used to enjoy this restaurant, but this experience was embarrassing.

    One of the owners was at the restaurant and I told him how great his staff was. He brought over a delicious appetizer. This restaurant is very good, from the food to all the staff. Thank you Moderne Barn.
