About Lola's on Harrison
Opened in 2007, it remains a bastion of contemporary, American, upscale comfort food. Recently, the restaurant was taken over by Chef Bob Mignola, whose resume includes Smith & Wollensky in Miami Beach and The Post House in Manhattan. Mignola has worked with renowned Chef's David Burke, Bobby Flay & Michelle Bernstein. Mignola is breathing new life into this already outstanding dining establishment.
From the extraordinary boutique wine list, the seemingly endless selection of craft beers, an imaginative and alluring cocktail menu, to the offerings of artfully prepared cuisine, no step has been missed in selecting and preparing the finest and freshest of ingredients. Mignola will be showing off his culinary talents by introducing specials to compliment Lola's favorite selections such as the Coca Cola® Short Ribs and the Crab Cakes, which remain on the menu.

Delightful Night Out, and I'm not was to please
We hadn't dined at Lola's on Harrison for since it was the new kid on the block. We decided to have another go and we were not disappointed. I was initially concerned at the low turn out at the height of dinner rush on a Saturday. Our service, food and experience--all very good--lent no insight to the lack of patronage. The Bartender gladly found a delicious alternative to grapefruit juice in the cocktail I wanted from the specialty drink menu and the manchego cheese we had as an appetizer was creamy and tangy and a perfect combination with the flatbread, marcona almonds and fig spread. Both my date and I ordered from the "specials" menu. Our wildly diverse food (mine Italian, his american southern) were really superbly prepared. The wine list, while compact, was thoughtful and well-priced. Would go again for sure and would encourage anyone to try.
Showed up with kids and the place took me buy surprise. I was under the impression we were going for barbecue but hands down the food was fantastic . With kids its a limited menu but no one left hungry and they loved the ribs.. Service was great and very friendly .
Our lamb and steak dinners were excellent! Cozy and comfortable atmosphere with good service...nice way to end the night! Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service. Sophisticated crowd. Well kept secret. Good parking in rear of restaurant.
Great Meal Noisy Bar
Everything was great apart from the loud group at the bar detracting from the dinner. The owner apologized and comp the wine which was not called for but appreciated. Service and food was excellent with pork chop and special braised short ribs delicious. No hesitations to recommend.

Excellent, personalized experience. Great food, atmosphere, attention and service. Nice to eat in a restaurant and have a low key experience, with outstanding service and food. Never rushed and always attended to. Highly recommend. Enjoy.

The food was really good, especially my wife's pork chop. The service was excellent even though it appeared they were down at least one (or two!) servers/bussers. The bartender and hostess both chipped in with service and we never felt neglected for an instant. As general manager of a NYC restaurant, I was impressed. I will definitely go to Lola's again.
Lola's is Lovely!
From beginning to end, our experience at Lola's was simply first rate. The food was delicious; excellent appetizers including salmon tartare; baked brie with fig jam, honey and almonds atop special crackers. The fish was prepared very well; branzino was accompanied by an eggplant ratatouille and rice. The grouper was also very tasty. Lola's has a laid back atmosphere; the bar is fun and drinks are very well prepared. It won't be long before we go back!!

We love this restaurant! It is by far the best restaurant we've found in downtown Hollywood. While I always eat fish, I've brought guests who love the Coca-Cola ribs.

Celebrating an anniversary, we dined at Lola's with close friends. We had requested a quiet table, and were seated immediately upon our arrival in a more private area of the restaurant. Our needs were immediately met; waitstaff was attentive yet not overpowering. Both the food and drinks were perfect. We spoke with the owner on our way out and she was extremely lovely and very personable. Lola's was a new choice for us in downtown Hollywood. We will all be back.

My husband and I went on a Friday night with 7pm reservations, my husband didn't know where to park and the hostess was gracious enough to walk out to our car and personally give him directions. The restaurant is beautiful with a touch of new age urban chic. Our waitress Nicole was super attentive - actually the entire staff was very responsive and friendly. They have a full bar and the drinks are delicious. For starters we ordered the Onion soup and steamed mussels in a white wine sauce. The soup was very good but my husband didn't like the wine sauce he said it was watery and the mussels were sandy but don't let that discourage you because the food is delicious. Main course I had the Coca Cola beef ribs YUM and he had the Lamb chops that he raved over. Oh and let's not forget dessert! The bread pudding was prepared by angels! Overall great experience.
Was there on business - was recommended. Will go back.

Great food, great wine , and fantastic service!!
Took out of town guests for dinner on Tuesday night. Dinner was great and out party of 5 wasn't rushed before, during and after dinner. We did close the place, but mercifully, there was none of the eye-rolling so often encountered when the staff wants you to go so they can close.
Went for Valentines dinner, picked at random and wasn't sure what to expect. We had a great time, had a terrific waiter and waitress. Food was excellant, had a seabass at the suggestion of the waiter which was second to none. My sweatheart had a keylime cheese cake for desert which was also great. Enjoyed every minute we spent there. We will be back.
Fabulous food and good beer!
Went for valentine's day dinner. We have been a few times, and always enjoy the food and ambiance. They have a great beer and wine section, with really good micro-brews. The Wedge Caesar salad was fresh and tasty, and the Branzino fish was outstanding. My wife loves the veggie sides, would just order a few of those if I let her. All in all, we love the place and are always happy to go back.
My husband and I made a last minute decision to come here based on the reviews. We were so happy we did. The food was fresh and full of flavor. The wait staff was absolutely amazing, everyone seemed happy to be there. We will definitely be returning here often. Wonderful food, ambiance, and overall experience. Had a great time!
It took us forever to receive our food on St Valentine's Day, they ran out of several items on the menu and in addition, the price was quite high for the quantity of food we received. In overall, not a the best experience...
Always enjoy my meal here. Service and congeniality add to a delightful menu.

A delightful find
We were staying at Turnberry Isle, and wanted to find a local neighborhood dining option. Lola tuned out to be one of the best meals we have had in a long time. We travel, we eat, we live in Atlanta, fine dining on every corner... and this place was impressive. Long Bone Pork Chop, Grouper, and the Coca-Cola ribs looked good as well. A total pleasure.

We have been coming here for years. It was one of my favorite restaurants. However, the last few times the food didn't taste as good as before. The onion soup was just ok. The salmon was good but not amazing like before. My wife had the steak and fries which use to be amazing and now it's just ok. I don't know what happened after so many years...
Excellent as usual!
World-class dining with fantastic service! We will definitely return!
Great food, highly recommended! A little loud, but not bad and service was outstanding. We had a variety of food from steaks to fish. All delicious.
We went for New Year's Eve after an early movie and they had their regular menu. As always, it was good and the service efficient and friendly. We are regulars so to speak and they always make us feel welcome.
Lola's hit the mark for a delicious dinner.
we had a thoroughly enjoyable meal at Lola's. Our server was very good and very attentive. I had the duck and it was amazing. Cant wait to go back.
We eat here once a month, and always great food and a pleasure to sit in.
Thanksgiving turkey was tough! It appeared to be turkey roll rather than fresh turkey breast. When a steak knife was presented, I was concerned as we had ordered a traditional turkey dinner not something that should require a steak knife. However, it was needed as turkey was so tough. It was covered with too much bland gravy. This is too bad as soups, side dishes, and dessert pies all were all very good. They are the only reason that food was not rated poor. We have gone to Lola's on Harrison for Thanksgiving dinner as well as one or two times during the year for the past several years. While they had gone from the small tender ribs to large ribs, which I did not care for, the last time that I had them, we have never been so disappointed as we were with this holiday dinner. Unless we can be assured that they will never serve this type of turkey again, we will be looking for some place else for Thanksgiving dinner next year!
