Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria, and close to the Potomac River, Landini Brothers is a well-established landmark in Northern Virginia. It has been serving northern Italian food in the traditional Tuscan style since it opened in 1976. Every time I come to the area we go to Landinis and the consistency of the food does not disappoint. Delicious agnolotti that melted in my mouth and the Osso Bucco was so incredibly tender.

It was a wonderful dining experience to celebrate our anniversary. The staff even decorated our table and left us a small anniversary card. The food was phenomenal!

Food was awesome and atmosphere was good, but there was a little rat running around everyone’s feet. I know the building is old and this is semi acceptable but I can’t help but imagine the rats at night all over the tables and food prep area. We notified the waiter along with other patrons, but they laughed it off and told us to keep our feet up. Minus the rat it was a good experience.

Food was great but waiter seemed over booked at the start of our service. Drinks took about 20 minutes to arrive . Also there was a mouse in the dining room.

The ambiance was lovely and thankfully low noise level. While the staff was attentive, they forgot our side order. The food was delicious as was the wine. Would go back again.

I was a bit disappointed with Landini Brothers. I came based on a certain bottle of wine that was listed on their online wine list, only to find out the restaurants wine list was different. My wife’s dish was a bit bland, and the short rib special I ordered, which was supposed to be in a red wine sauce instead was with a brown sauce that was more mushroom flavored. Plus, they charged $47 for the short rib special, which is a bit on the high side. Service was very good.
