Great service. Warm ambiance. Very good food as well.
What a let down !
Went here a few time , service was good and the food was too , but it only takes one time to mess it up , it was like they tried rushing you out , the food tasted like it was from a buffet line , not the quality you expected from a high dollar place , not going back ago
Fantastic food and service!!
I was at Kome this past Friday to celebrate a birthday with 2 of my best gf. Sergio, our server, was so great. The drinks and food could not have been any better. My steak was cooked perfectly!! I've not had a steak that good in over a year (and I eat at many high end restaurants). I would recommend Kome for anyone wishing to have amazing food in a fabulous setting for a nice dinner out.
Great place, food was fantastic, service was great, overall wonderful time, can't wait to go again

Great for the Valley !! Would we great to have another in west allentown . Terrible sushi at the selections in west allentown & not classy like Kome
Great food -average service
All the food here we ordered was absolutely amazing. The sushi was so fresh and tasty. I also got the wagyu beef entree, which was pricey but the best beef I've ever had. It melts in your mouth like butter. Only problem we had throughout the night was our waitress taking long for our orders and also forgetting one of the sides. We did get the side at the end, but that was when we were full and boxing up our food.

My best friend and I had a great time the food was great as well as the service! We ordered cooked sushi rolls since I am 6 months pregnant and they were fabulous. I typically am more of a raw sushi girl but the cooked rolls were amazing! I highly recommend trying a sushi roll with any kind of fruit in it, it really adds another level to the dish. Ours had mango in it....simply delicious! We will definitely be going back again!
Fresh and high quality sushi. Can get a bit loud in the restaurant, including the NON-hibachi section.
Great dining and fun!

Went during Restaurant Week this time and was very good like every other time I've eaten here.
We tried Kome for "Restaurant Week" and were pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is quite nice and the food was really good. The presentation of the sushi and sashimi was really something and the server was well versed in the dishes.

It was a great night out. The food was amazing! The drinks were delicious too
My fiance and I came here for Valentines day - what a wonderful place. The food was fantastic and the service was friendly to a fault! I wanted to try Uni for the first time and our server was kind enough to advise me against the Live variety because he wasn't sure I would like it even though it was almost twice the price of the prepared Uni and would have inflated the check and, thereby, his tip - so nice! There were only 2 negative points, but they are so minor that they don't warrant a loss of a star; 1. When we were seated, the hostess put us directly next to another couple when she could have easily spaced us out. That couple ended up fighting at their table which dampened the atmosphere a bit - but that's not Kome's fault. 2. What you read in many other reviews rings true - service slows down quite a bit when the dining room starts to fill up! Luckily, our reservations were at 4:15 and we had desert and cocktail plans elsewhere, so this didn't affect us until our second round of sushi rolls. Had we arrived later, this may have been a completely different experience - but for our first time here on Valentine's day: 5 stars!
We ate here on Valentine's Day. Sat in the restaurant, not the hibachi. The service was exquisite, the food exceptional, and it was fresh. Normally we do the hibachi, but decided to try the main restaurant. We are ever so glad we did. It is a must try, especially if you liked their hibachi.
Great Service and Sushi!
We went on Valentine's day which you would expect slower service but we were very wrong. The service was fast and the food was great! We keep talking about it and can't wait to go back. Very fresh sushi. Slightly pricey but worth it for a special occasion. I never write reviews but thought this place deserved a mention.
One of the best in the area
It was our first time and it was very good.A musst say we are Japanese food lovers. They call us after a while visiting the restaurant the sushi family. The first visit was for Valentin's day. Just my husband and I. We usually go out dining with our two teenager daughters and they can eat sushi like some people eat fries. We moved to the area now 2,5 years ago and this is going to be definetely our fine dining sushi restaurant after we have to leave our great sushi place in SC. It will not be a replacement, because every one of them are individual. I love the ambiance and the most important thing the good time with the great food we have spend in there. I wouldn't recommend it families with small children. Other then that it's a place for everyone. Why don't you give a try?

Wanted to try Kome forever, so glad we finally made the time! The spicy seafood soup for 2 was exceptional and probably our favorite course, but the roast duck and surf&turf were both excellent. But our favorite part was our server Brian who was both knowledgeable and attentive... we loved him!!
As always our food was great. The waitres we had was not so great howevever. After saying something about our server another waitres took over and everything was exceptional for the remainder of our visit.

The perfect experience
I took my lady there for Valentine's Day. She'd never experienced a Hibachi setting before. Needless to say she loved it. The environment was excellent and the cook was amazing and very outgoing. A+++++ from us!

Service was spotty with entrees arriving up to 5 minutes apart and partially wrong. Good was good but not worthy of the prices. Very noisy even for an energetic place. This is our third and I'd say last visit.

Love the hibachi dining. Good place for a couple or a small group! Food was excellent. Was a great meal and place for our anniversary dinner

Food was delicious, staff very friendly and the hibachi chef was skilled and entertaining. Jacqueline our server did a great job, she was very personable and attentive. Calamari is a must and try the extensive sushi selection. The atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable. Everything hit the spot, can't wait to go back!
New Year's Eve can be a difficult dining experience...crowded, rushed, avoided, slow. Our evening at Kome was none of the above; it was exceptional! Heather was delightful, very knowledgeable, efficient, attentive and caring. We loved the food and enjoyed seeing a number of friends. As former restaurant owners, recently retired, it was our first venture out on New Year's Eve at over 30 years...and a real treat. We'll be back soon.
Good food, slow service.
First I have to say the food was great. It never fails to impress. The service was less than impressive. It took them 15 min to get me my drink. Then they barely checked in to see if I was OK. None the less I recommend this restaurant for the food alone.

Mixed results for the food. I had the steak, which was very good. My wife had the chicken and did not like it. When the waiter ask her if she wanted to take the chicken home she said no. He did not ask her if she liked the chicken. Overall. . I would say an average experience. You would expect more, for the price
This is the standing meeting place for a friend and myself when we get together. Noise level is very pleasant and it is easy to talk and enjoy delicious rolls. The special roll of the day is usually 'to die for'.

Went to dinner with an old high school friend for her birtday. Perfect evening for catching up and having a great meal. The waiter was amazing as well as the food. I wll go back again for sure!
Great entertainment while our dinner was prepared
Excellent entertainment which kept my daughter entertained while they prepared our dinner
We had reservations for 6:15 on a Saturday night and were seated right away. Our waiters name was Andrew and he couldn't have been more accommodating. I'll be asking for him the next time I make a reservation. He was on top of everything. I have been here many times and the food is always delicious. We first started off with Clam Miso Soup that was rich and full of flavor. Next we had a very fresh House Spring Mix salad that was enough for two people. For an appetizer we always order the Tuna Bites, they are unbelievable! It's tuna and chopped pistachios served on 5 individual Japanese spoons with the most amazing sauce. Give yourself a treat an order some, you won't be disappointed. We always get the old standby of California Rolls and Spicy Salmon Rolls (always fresh and delicious) and then order two of the specialty rolls. This time we got the Saucon Valley Roll and the Passion Lobster Roll, both were incredible!

Waitress wasn't very friendly, I though the hibachi came with rice but it didn't. She didn't explain clearly . Order a sushi and never came, we almos never see the waitress she came to ask if we they had brought us the sushi when we were almos over with the hibachi, brought the sushi, and wasn't the right on. After that never see her again, had to ask other waiter to get me a refil, then other waiter came and gave us the check. It was my first time, went there to celebrate my birthday but was disappointed. Don't know if may be was the time I went, change of shifts, or not a busy time but will have to think on going back.

This is our 4th time and 2nd for dinner. We love this place. Sushi, miso soup, strip steak, halibut special wonderful and a creme brulee to die for with fig sorbet. We have enjoyed everything here. The ambiance is very relaxing. We will be back again.

Our waiter Patrick was fabulous! Trust him!!
It's my first time eating at Kome. I got the Maki Set B that includes Spicy Tuna, Spicy Salmon, and a Shrimp Tempura Roll for the Lunch special. It also came with salad and miso soup. The salad was well dressed. The place was clean and neat. Our waiter was very helpful with the type of drinks. I ordered the sake-tini Lychee flavored. It was good, but not great. I would definitely come back here for lunch again. The price was average for lunch special.
Always a good time and food is consistently good.
We like to sit at the hibachi because it is fun and the saki stream is a favorite of my husband's. However, I love the salmon sous vide and you can only get that in the dining room. This particular night, we made reservations through Open Table and when we got there, they told us you also have to call if you want to sit at the hibachi or else you are assigned to the dining room. They accommodated us, anyway, and I've never heard this before. We sat waiting for our "companions," always worried about who sits with us since it's like a group meal. Six kids under age 21 were seated with us. At first I was let down that there would be no fun or conversation, but that quickly changed when one of the kids ordered his chicken medium rare. Everyone laughed, including me, and although he was embarrassed, it was an ice-breaker. The rest of the meal was delicious and fun. This cook appeared a little less of a performer than most so I was unsure of how the food would taste. One thing you can always count on---great food. The scallops are amazing and my husband's filet was wonderful. I enjoyed the slightly charred vegetables that appeared came from his inexperience, but, if so, was to my advantage. We will only ever go to this hibachi as the others in the valley are not consistent at all.
Nice Japanese Restaurant.
Everything we've had here has been excellently prepared and served well. This place has served well for many romantic dinners with my wife and has been consistently good unlike some other restaurants in the Promenade Mall. We've been coming here for years and still like it very much and this is from a guy that hated the idea of Japanese food at first.
