Blackened Salmon perfectly seasoned. Not too spicy. Great service. Nice view.
Good place to eat
Outside of small menu options this place is excellent.
Ok - not the best ever...
salmon was very dry - not worth the high price. halibut special was good - only slightly overcooked.

The food, view and service were great! Maggie our server did a great job!
Went to Ivar's to celebrate a birthday. Food was great (no complaints), service was great (very attentive), scenery was great (watched several harbor seals cruise around in the water just offshore).

Good food, very good service, great views
Great view and great food, very busy
The food was wonderful, ate my weight in oysters. Be prepared for a little sticker shock because its not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I will say that they were behind on the reservations, had to wait an additional 15 minutes and the window seat that I requested was not available. Our server was friendly, attentive, and on his game. Overall good marks.
Grear food, small servings, ocean view. Noisy with good service.
We are never disappointed with our experience
We are eagerly looking forward to coming back. Would like to see more Fresh Halibut recipes like the ones from last year. Really enjoyed the prime rib and the Thai King Salmon recipes. See you soon, and thanks for keeping your quality and standards high.
Great view! Service was excellent and food was great. I would recommend Ivar's.
Love this special place.
We love Ivar's in Mukilteo. We always take out of town guests to enjoy the view and delicious food. It's the northwest at it's best. The location is perfect on Puget Sound, near the lighthouse park and the ferry.
Arnie's in Mukilteo has been a long-time favorite place for my family and I to dine. We had dinner there last night and I was very disappointed with our meals. My daughter's seafood risotto was runny and tasteless, my other daughter's steak was over cooked, my dad mentioned the fried calamari appetizer was better than his fried oyster dinner and for my fish and chips, I've had better. Not sure what's happened at this establishment, but I hope they can correct their meals upon our next return.
A perfect dining experience
I have dined at Ivar's many times for many occasions from B-day to anniversary dinner. We love doing date nite their as well. Excellent would be my rating
Brunch menu was limited. Not enough non-seafood items. French toast was awful. Really mushy. Ham steak and red potatoes were good. Also liked the fruit and pastry appetizer
Ivars Easter Brunch
As always, we were not disappointed with the service or the food. This has been a frequent family brunch location for holidays.
Enjoyed great dinner with my daughters
Almond crusted king salmon wasgood. Salted carmel carrot cake was delicious and unique. Wonderful night out for us.
A GREAT place to Celebrate!
We were married in the restaurant five years ago and decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary there. We were not disappointed! AWESOME view, unbeatable food and friendly service.

Easy walk on the ferry from Whidbey Island to good seafood and service. Great place to take out of state guests.

Great Evening Out
Met old friends for dinner and catch up. Great setting, great sea food and great time.
Unfortunately, ordered the almond encrusted salmon for Sunday brunch. First time I felt as though the salmon was either frozen or reheated. It was not a good choice. Usually, our food experience at Ivar's is great, but perhaps the above mean should not be on the menu in its present presentation. Pretty pricey too for a frozen/reheated piece of salmon.

The food this time was not good. I am disappointed as this was my favorite place to go for dinner.
Ivar's at Mukilteo Landing is Great!
Ivar's at Mukilteo Landing is always a wonderful place to dine. The service is impeccable, whether I am in a small or large group. There are always new dishes to try and I've never ordered anything that I don't like.
Fish & chips, clam chowder, salmon, seafood Louie, seafood fettuccini, all excellent, although it was busy, server was personable, quick and efficient. Highly recommend Ivar's Mukilteo.
Food Price is way expensive
We came to celebrate our son's 16th birthday. The waitress was not friendly at the beginning. She seemed grouchy and not willing to tell us much. We did not like the selection and price offerings. The same fish and chips you get from outside stand is around $10 and inside eating is $18 (bot too much) for the same food. Also $35 for halibut topped with briquettes was way out of line for the qty and not enough for the appetite of an adult.
They know the right way to cook razor clams..never a bad meal.
Almost always have an enjoyable time at Ivars.
Had great service and really nice meals served to our group. Continues to be a good spot for seafood in the Mukilteo area, where there is a shortage of good places for dinner.
Excellent waitress. Excellent food.
Excellent waitress. Excellent food.
Ivars Equals Date Night Spot
Good service, parking, lovely view, tasty food makes it a great place for a quiet adult night out.
This was a dinner that worked well for all the various ages of those in our family, celebrating our son's birthday. We ranged in age from one to eleven to 40's- 50's, to 71. It worked well for everyone. Very kind waiter and adaptable staff.
What a view!
Always love the view, food & service !!! Our group of 8 had a fantastic lunch on a beautiful day...OUTSTANDING !!!
Port Clintoner and the Canadians
We had family members visiting us on Whidbey Island, as a treat, we walked on to the ferry to have lunch at Ivar's. One of our party missed the ferry so we had to wait in the bar an additional 45 minutes. The staff was very good about letting us tie up a table for that length of time. when we were ready to order the server was very gracious and efficient. No complaints there. Unfortunately, the food let the lunch down. Every thing was beautifully presented except two of our fish dishes were not cooked correctly, the salmon was over cooked and dry, my swordfish special was not cooked in the middle. My wife and I both agreed that whatever changes have been made are all good, the atmosphere has improved. We have been coming here for years because of the location, now we will come back for the food and service.
Love having dinner here. The staff is very friendly. Had an issue with the air conditioning blowing right on me, they corrected the issue right away. The fish is the best and really good clam chowder. Can't wait to go back.

I love their razor clams but this time they were slightly overcooked and hence a little tough. Everyone else loved their food: crab cakes, cod, and mixed seafood plates were excellent.
Nice ambiance, food just Ok
I was not pleased with the salmon or halibut. I thought it was overcooked and neither had much flavor. However, the Balsamic reduction was very good and hit the fact it was overlooked. The calamari was done well.

Been here several times. Normally I would give a 5 rating. This time less but due to my choice of items from the menu. Should have gone with the Halibut, or maybe the Salmon, but decided on the Ling Cod. Not bad, just not memorable. Service was fine atmosphere was fine front desk was fine. I'll be back for sure. Hey is it just the part of the country we live in why you can't get a nice filet of Sole here?
The food was good. The only issue is that I don't like my fish half raw, or translucent. So I asked for it to be done medium well. It was cooked plenty. A little too much. It was somewhat dry. I had the taste of the NW and it came with a small piece of Salmon, Halibut and a Crab Cake. Very good, just a little dry.

Was happy to make reservations two and a half weeks in advance for Valentine's Day dinner and assumed there may be a nice feature sheet on the night of. Food was lovey, despite having to send my steak back to be cooked to proper temp. Sadly, I found the wine by the glass selection to be lacking and the VDay cocktail list wasn't exciting. The service and overall experience was pleasant and the vibe in the room was exactly as I figured it would be. Would I return? Sure. There weren't any problems to deter me. Would I turn down the opportunity to try something over this? No. It was lovely but not dazzling.

Our party of six had a back room corner booth, which was perfect given we wanted to be able to talk without excessive noise ruining our evening chat. Our salmon arrived overcooked. However, the waitperson quickly brought us portions that were perfect. Sorry, she didn't asked us how we wanted our fish cooked. Being from the northwest, of course, medium rare was assumed. Not so, but issue was resolved. We will always go back to Ivar's.
this is the second time this year we have been in Ivars, and we will not be back. food has gone down hill at the Mukilto one. we ordered tuna, Medium rare. got medium. no taste , vegies over done. like last time also.
