Indigo Crow Ratings and Reviews

Our meals were excellent and love their presentation. The staff was very accommodating and can't wait to arrange a brunch event sometime soon.
Quite expensive! Will come again, maybe.
Came for dinner. Food was good. Found it very noisy and hard to have a conversation. Be back in the summertime for lunch or dinner on the patio - - then maybe we can hear one another when we are talking. It was pretty expensive for what you get!
Great service, wonderful food
I took my daughter to Indigo Crow to celebrate her birthday. The service was great, the food and wine, wonderful. My only complaint is that there were several larger parties surrounding us making it difficult to have a conversation due to the noise level. Other than that it was a lovely dining experience.
Indigo Crow never fails to deliver
My wife and I love eating at this hidden gem in Corrales. I like it so much that I have brought business guests to their sister property in the Scottsdale area. The food is always done to perfection and the staff is attentive, but not obtrusive. We would recommend this place to anyone with the time to make the drive to Corrales and get out of the city to find what all of us in Corrales know as the best place to eat in the Albuquerque area. Would like to see a full bar offered, but currently only beer and wine.
Love love love their mussels!

Lobster Ravioli was wonderful! Could have used more sauce, but overall it was prepared well!
One of my favorites.
A restaurant to brag about to my many visitors and demonstrate a local cultural favorite, the Village Burrito. Past visits and other menu items I have selected over many occasions have also been perfect with excellent service.
We've eaten here several times and found it excellent, both the food and service. But this time, the service was very slow and the food was dried out, as if it had been left under the warming area too long. However, we will give it another try.
Food was just fine, no, good. Service very good. Ambiance? I did not remember this restaurant being so NOISY (poor acoustics?) and remembered it as more of a "special occasion" place than a nice local café, which it IS!

Good was great and the service by Casey even better.
Great atmosphere and food,
Great atmosphere and food,
Four of us enjoyed an excellent lunch. Burgers were delicious, as was the ahi tuna salad. Top notch service. Good value compared to many lesser restaurants. Indigo Crow is situated in a lovely, quintessential New Mexican adobe building. We originally planned to dine in their lovely courtyard but it was too windy so we opted for inside.
Favorite Restaurant in town!
Incredible food, great service, love sitting on the patio in the summer - love Sunday brunch! Awesome cheesecake (when they make it) - best macaroni & cheese in the city, but is a fall / winter dish.
When we visit Abq. Indigo Crow is a must.
Great food. All time favorite- fillet with the green chili Gorgonzola sauce (Yum). My husband gets the pork chop Awesome. We love the atmosphere. Very New Mexican, small and quaint. Staff has always been great! Bread pudding is a must to finish the meal. Can't wait to go back 😊
Crowing about Indigo Crow
Love Indigo Crow. The food is wonderful, service great and friendly. However, the acoustics in the restaurant is terrible ... Noise level very high even when there are only a few people in the restaurant. Hard to carry on a conversation. If this was eleviated, it would be perfect!
an excellent find
Most people say that there is excellent food in Albuquerque; I don't agree. Usually, I will suggest to friends that we eat at my house before or after some event. In Corrales, however, as it turns out, there is very recommendable Indigo Crow. It's noisy (Saturday night), and we should have opted for the outdoor patio. Next time, for sure. With the exception of one dish (which our server took off the bill), all the food was well prepared, with person-sized portions, attractively plated, and it was professionally served. The recommended Pinot was terrific. Before arriving (we had been given the sketchiest of driving instructions), we called twice for directions, which were courteously given. We arrived 35 minutes late, and were treated excellently all the same. The food was so good that I determined that we should not rush to the concert, but enjoy the meal. By the way, what follows is missing an apostrophe: review's is what you want: the possessive
One of those "go to" places for simple, tasty fare. Lunch was very nice. Casual, slow and comfortable. There was no rush. I had the barbecue brisket. It was very lean and tasty. Not so much sauce it dribbled off the bread so the bread wasn't soaked. The onion rings were done to perfection. Nice, golden brown. No harsh onion flavor. A great place for a relaxed, leisurely lunch.
Limited Lunch Menu
This restaurant needs more vegetarian and fish options. The one dish I went there for has been removed from the menu, alas.It was the fish tacos. I went with a friend who's vegetarian and I think she had only one choice, a portobello sandwich.
Special Birthday Dinner
I was in a lobster mood for my birthday and I know who does a great job with lobster - Indigo Crow's lobster ravioli. The lobster meat in the ravioli was cooked just right. There was also a full, meaty lobster tail served with the ravioli. The La Crema Chardonnary went well with this dish and the grilled romaine lettuce. It was a memorable meal for a happy occasion. Thank you Indigo Crow!
Great Special Menu
We had not been here in years (since it was the Desert Rose) and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and diversity of the menu. We'll go back when the full menu is available as Valentine's Day had a special limited menu. Great ambience, excellent service. A true hidden gem.
Great place but terrible waiter
Food is awesome, restaurant is cool and eclectic. A great little place! There is one waiter who is so bad that we can't go there anymore.
Had a great brunch on Sunday the 7th. Took visiting family for some tasty mimosas and excellent brunch choices. Omelets, eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros were all a hit. Casey is a fantastic waiter, dealt with him on many occasions as this is always a reliable location for brunch or dinner.
A Culinary Jewel in Corrales
My wife and I took a friend to dinner at Indigo Crow to celebrate her recent retirement. It was a Friday night so the place was busy, but not too noisy. The ambiance was great - rustic elegance. Our waiter was personable without being too personal, i.e., a real professional, and he was attentive but not constantly hovering over our table. We had the teryaki beef skewer appetizer and it was delicious. My wife had the fresh salmon, our friend the double cut pork chops, and I had the shrimp appetizer and a Caesar salad for dinner. The presentation was great and the meals were prepared to perfection. We didn't have time for dessert because we had to leave for a concert in Corrales but maybe next time.
At long last
We had eaten at the Indigo Crow many years ago when visiting ABQ and loved it. Now that we have moved here for good, we decided to see if it remained as good as we remembered. We were NOT disappointed. The food was creative and delicious. The service was impeccable. We will definitely be back soon.
Delicious, as always!
We absolutely love this place. Their food is amazing and service is always great. Order the grilled romaine salad, it is to die for!
Always a great pick!
Indigo Crow never fails to impress. Whether it's dinner with friends, dinner for work or a romantic dinner for two. The wine flights are an excellent pairing to the variety of entrees and appetizers. You have to try the gorgonzola fondue----the blend of flavors is mouth watering. Always enjoy my experience here.
It was fabulous I can't wait to go back

Thanks from the Corrales Writing Group
Members of the Corrales Writing Group and their spouses enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Indigo Crow in January 2016. Our party of ten arrived at 6:00 pm and was shown to a long table set up where we could be by ourselves. Our server was most attentive without being intrusive. She respected our desire to talk amongst ourselves but never failed to be there when the water was low or wine needed to be replenished. And she handled individual checks. Since the change in kitchen staff, the quality of the food has improved significantly. All of us are residents of the village and most of us had drifted away from this establishment. It was nice to see the Indigo Crow has regained its place at the head of the list of restaurants in Corrales. We will return.
great dinner ... again
a favorite - in summer out on the marvelous patio, in winter inside by the fireplace and any time between. The Ribeye was terrific; the filet special also excellent. We brought a friend visiting from out of town and she adored everything about it - as is always the case. Thanks again - and see you soon, also again
One of New Mexico's True Destination Restaurants
Rustic exposed adobe architecture with great fireplaces in the winter, great patio dining in the warm seasons, and a drive through Corrales to make it all worthwhile. How can you top that for New Mexico style? The servers are outstanding. They have the experience to leave you alone if that is what you want, but give them a look or a wave and they're right there to help. The wine list is top notch and filled with values. There is always a good selection of Chardonnays, Pinot Noirs, and Cabernet Sauvignons, as well as unusual whites and reds. The lunch menu includes sandwiches and green chile cheesburgers, if that's your style, but it also includes seared tuna. Have a glass of Pinot Noir or Chardonnay on the patio if the weather is good as it so often is in New Mexico. The dinner menu is first rate and stable, with new items appearing often enough to keep it from being stale. I always enjoy the Rack of Lamb with parmesan risotto and grilled vegetables, or the Ribeye steak. My wife often finds the Lobster Ravioli irresistible. We often have the Gorgonzola Fondue appetizer to start. We've enjoyed Indigo Crow since before we moved to Corrales almost 12 years ago. We bet you will, too.

Wonderful dinner sitting by the fire. I love how the restaurant feels like home, warm and relaxing.
Embarrassing. Stuck next to the noisey bar.
I made 6:30 reservations for dinner for four people. My guests. We were put in the bar area next to the bar. I tried to get a better table but was told all the tables were taken. Really??? Why was not a different time suggested? Why was I not told my table would have to be in the bar? I assure you I would have changed my dinner plans for a different day or time. Our server was perfect. The food was excellent. One of my guests called the next day to tell me how sorry they were that I had been treated so poorly. Now that is really embarrassing.
Could be better
We have been to Indigo Crow many times, and most times it is good. This time was no exception. Two of us had the special, a filet and Shrimp. I ordered the filet med rare, and it arrived quite rare. I did not send it back because we have tried that before, and it ended in disaster. One person ordered the sea bass, which comes with red potatoes, but was served with garlic mash. The shrimp were overcooked, but they always are. Everything else was good. Our server was very helpful and attentive in the beginning, but that tailed off toward the end.
New chef - new opinions [all good]
It has been a few months since we were at Indigo Crow. Recently we went back and boy were we surprised. There is a new chef, apparently it has been about six months since we were there. The bouillabaisse was simply out of this world. Large portions of lobster, shrimp, scallops, and mussels over perfectly prepared pasta in an excellent sauce with vodka if I remember. Do not look at the menu available on Zomato (Urbanspoon) since it is out of date. New menu, new chef, worth writing home about. We will be back - soon.
The entrees were great but the black bean soup was too mushy for my taste.
So good . . .
This was our second time at Indigo Crow and I was somewhat hesitant to make the reservation because, somehow, I didn't remember much from the first visit. But I am so glad we went. The food was incredibly fantastic, the service was right on, and the atmosphere was perfect for date night. My one complaint (if I had to voice one) would be that a large table sat behind us (the dining room is pretty small) and once one of that party began drinking, she also started loudly laughing/cackling, which was pretty annoying. That was hardly the restaurant's fault, though. Overall, outstanding on all fronts.
Disappointed, normally a favorite...
Heads up on the preset menu would have been nice, too pricey for what we got. Appetizers, sides & desserts were massed produced and not their normal caliber. Could have done much better with $200, super disappointed.
Beautiful place in Corrales Village needs polish
Charming ambiance, food overall good, not great. Great wine list. Waiters were more like Applebee's servers than finer dining - not at all what I would have expected for what we spent. There was no host and we waited at our table for initial contact a very long time once seated - we almost left. Staff seemed to be in a hurry which contributed to an overall sense of brusqueness. Our waiter did not seem to have time or knowledge to get into giving us interesting tips on ordering - instead it was "what'll ya have". Have had better experiences at brunch or lunch. They were busy but there were still unoccupied tables. Seems like a little polish and more attention will be required to pull off formal dining at this level.
Excellent food and service but expensive.
Indigo Crow's ambiance, food, beverages, and service are outstanding. However, we have had dinner at equally good restaurants in the area where the prices are considerably lower. The cost would likely make us think twice about returning.
