Mason is very knowledgeable when it comes to wine pairings and pointed out three wines, one of which we purchased and he was spot on.

Wonderful food

Dined on April 10, 2016

Every bit of food we ordered was absolutely wonderful and cooked perfectly. Everything that was recommended for us to try was perfect. The calamari was so tender and flavorful. The lobster bique was a little more watery than I expected but the flavor was great. The steaks were perfect and the lobster wasnt chewy and was very buttery. The only complaint was that they closed while we were there and they tried as hard as they could to just push us out. We are, by no means, "slow eaters" so if we were taking too long it was only because the food took a little while to get to us. Every other guest got a dessert menu and offers for after dinner drinks and he just brought us a check then we said we wanted cake cause it was our anniversary and he brought us literally just a cake on a plate with nothing else and didnt even ask aabout drinks. So the food is amazing and I would recommend to anyone but just dont make reservations for 9:30 on Saturday night.

Excellent dinner with impeccable service. Manager and server were very responsive to a food allergy guest in making sure there were no issues. Different from Dallas III Forks but still a great experience.

The service was worse than a McDonald's at Steakhouse prices. No one should ever go to this location. They have ruined the III Forks brand and I will never step foot in one again.

Everything from the ambiance to the incredible openly viewed wine cellar lends for 111 Forks to be an exceptional experience. The menu is diverse, yet focused enough for the chef's team to be able to master each dish. The service team is impeccable in both knowledge and attentiveness without being too intrusive. The wine selection is perfection, allowing for those on a budget to those looking to indulge to be able to meet their needs. The family style sides provide an opportunity for a sampling of an array of palatable options. Overall, great experience.

So this is a steak house and it took two try's to get my filet medium plus. Needless to say my husband was already done with his meal by the time mine came out. The restaurant was apologetic, gave us a free after dinner little cocktail and two deserts which was nice. In fact the chocolate cake (which I never would have ordered) was THE BEST CHOCOLATE CAKE I HAVE EVER HAD, hands down. Moist, not overly chocolaty it was awesome. The sides and bread were also very good and my husband loved his pork chops. So, we will probably try again.

House salad, French onion soup, 6 cheese potato and asparagus were outstanding. Steak was flavorful, but texture not quite up to par for price paid. Service was prompt and cordial, but felt like I was being upsold at almost every interaction.

Fantastic service

Dined on March 6, 2016

Booked reservation online for my husband's birthday. Table location was exactly what I wanted. We got off to a little bit of a rocky start with the cocktail I ordered. It was something new and as it was described but our waitress immediately substituted it with my go to cocktail which is a lemon drop and it was fantastic! My husband ordered the mushrooms which he didn't care for as they had a very earthy or weedy taste. Manager removed that from the bill so no issues there. Now the best and unexpected part. We were asked if we cared for dessert which we did not as we had cake back at our hotel thT they provided. The staff brought out dessert anyway which was not one but three different cake slices of generous portions. They were kind enough to box them up for us so needless to say we are set on desserts for the week. Everyone has an off night from time to time but the staff handled all the hiccups appropriately and we will definitely be back!

This was our second Customer lunch and we decided to take them to III Forks since our first experience, for dinner, was spectacular. This experience was not. The restaurant was almost empty and we waited almost an hour for our food. The food was great but I don't know if I will be recommending this as a place to visit again for dining. Since I travel a lot I count on OpenTable to provide me with a selection of restaurants that will provide a great experience for my Customers.

This was one of the most disappointing lunches I have ever had in Houston. I have frequented the Dallas sister restaurant, which is excellent. First of all, they tried to seat us in the large open section where there were hardly any people. The food was very poor quality. My colleague and I ordered a tenderloin salad; the meat was certainly not tenderloin quality. It was fatty, chewy and ovecooked. The salad was overdressed. I complained, and to give them credit, the manager did offer us free desserts (nice gesture which we didn't take him up on, although he really should not have charged for the mains). This place needs a major overhaul. I will not be returning.

what's with the address?

Dined on February 27, 2016

We enjoyed a nice meal at III Forks, with filets mignon that were cooked to perfection and very tasty. The glass of red wine went very well with it, and the appetizers and sides were delicious. The noise level was quite high, and somewhat of a problem for my husband who is a bit hard of hearing. A source of confusion was the address. It is listed as being on Fannin, and we used our GPS and when we arrived at the address we did not see the restaurant. We parked in a garage and started walking around. Eventually, after asking two people on the street and calling the restaurant, we were directed to the restaurant entrance which is on San Jacinto. Because of all that we were more than half an hour late. It was not a problem and our table was still held for us, but if we had arranged to meet with friends we would have kept them waiting for a rather long time.

I couldn't finish all my food so the waiter went to put my left-overs in a box. I noticed the waiter and the manager walking up to the table and the manger said i have some bad news. He explain how it was a mix-up and someone threw my left-overs away. He then apologized and said they are working on another full steak with is $54 and its free for the mishap. I really appreciate that they were able to fix the problem and own up to the mistake. The food was very good and i loved the atmosphere.

Great food, great atmosphere horrible services

Dined on February 21, 2016

We had a business meeting of 6, and was made clear upon reservation that this was an important business meeting. The waiter would keep interrupting us, had a dismal attitude and the cherry on top, was when he took my clients plate off the table before he was done eating. It's a real shame, because everything else about this place was great.

Great Special Occasion Dining

Dined on February 14, 2016

III Forks was a wonderful dining experience. I had reservations for 9:00 and was seated by 9:07 with an apology for the wait. I had the Wagyu New York Strip and it was most delicious! There's only one thing that could be improved. There is no waiting area. We were always shifting to move out of someone's way. Other than that, an awesome dining experience!

Disappointed on Valentine's Day

Dined on February 14, 2016

My date and I had a reservation for III Forks in Houston on Valentine's Day this year. I was very disappointed at my experience. Although I had a 7:30 reservation, I was not called until 8:30. The waitress disappeared for 15 minutes at a time, with water sitting on the table, unfilled. I had to ask a different waitress to fill my tables empty water glasses. The wine recommendation was ok, but not great. The steaks are over-seasoned for my taste. The waitress should let her guests know ahead of time how the steaks are prepared to avoid a unsatisfied customer. For a fine dining experience, and the price they ask, I expect more.

Sat Nite w/ Friends

Dined on February 14, 2016

We went to III Forks after a show- would have like a table but had to settle for a booth though everything after that was excellent. Great wine list and David recommended a very nice bottle that turned into another it went so well with the starters and main course. Service was the best we have had in Houston- every detail of the meal the best and I would not hesitate to recommend this location to a friend or family. The servers had a slight problem when dividing my wife and I's ribeye and her half ended up on the floor- it was promptly replaced and both pieces of meat were done to perfection and tasted wonderful. It provided a memory that we will recall for years to come.

Great Steaks

Dined on February 13, 2016

First Time here, ambiance was great, even though the place was very large it was sectioned well so it still felt more romantic. Food was exceptional! Loved the steak butter and Crowns. They had a great wine list but very sad beer selection. Service was not what I have come to expect from a higher end steakhouse. Not sure if it was just our waiter or the place as a whole, we still very happy with the food so we will try again and see if it is better next time.

Dined on February 13, 2016

We tried it because it was walking distance from Toyota & we were looking for something upscale. It was great. Bartender made a perfect Lemon Drop Martini. Steak & Lobster were also cooked to perfection & our waiter was awesome. Reviews I read complained about price, but I thoughtt it was right in line with other restaurants of the same Quality.
