Fiorino Ratings and Reviews
Nice spot in Summit
Summit has emerged as a town that hos somehow maintained its downtown businesses. There are many restaurants to choose from, and Fiorino should be included in that list. Tables in the wine room are kept a bit too tight together, but otherwise fine.
Pricey,, but I'll be back
I was here for the first time hoping it could be a local standby but it will have to remain a special occasion place for my bankroll. The foo, service and ambiance were all excellent. Ordered one of their special cocktail and it had way too much bitters- they made an exchange with no problems. The panzanella salad was very tasty but lacked enough bread. The calf's liver special ordered med/rare was perfect but a bit sweet for my taste
Always a great meal!
My sister was in town, so we took her to dinner at Fiorino. We all had delicious dinners and a nice wine. They have a great menu, efficient service, and a very nice atmosphere. We have gone here several times, and have never been disappointed.
Amazing food and very personable service!
Food was amazing and service was spectacular! Victor is our favorite! Seated right away and now our "go to" restaurant for birthdays and friends night out! Highly recommend!!!
Lunch with friend
The food was exceptional. The service was very good . First time my friend had been there and was very impressed.
Great as Always
We have been enjoying Fiorinos for years now. The food is consistently excellent and the service is top notch. Reservations are a must--especially on weekends.
Always love this place
Been coming here for years. Went 2x in two days. $23 wine list is exceptional food is great and typically a great value too. The only exception was the veal which was small for the price.
Best Italian in Summit
Food is always good but service is fantastic. Especially Caesar and his sons. Beats the other Italian restaurants in town. Always a fun dinner.

Waited far too long for our entrees more than 45 mts , when they arrived they were good , but certainly not worth the wait .
We took my son and his girlfriend for dinner here and everything about the restaurant was superb. From the great food to the stellar service, it was an incredible experience! We love Fiorino's!

I had the agnolotti pasta and it was clearly homemade and absolutely delicious.
Great as usual
Fiorino never disappoints. Always interesting drink menu, great specials, great service, knowledgeable staff, a tried and true favorite.

Everything was great food and service, BUT we were rushed we had 6:15 pm dinner reservations and we were out the door at 7pm! Spent too much money to be rushed like that. Granted we didn't have dessert but we were rushed through and could t enjoy our meal. We will go back because the food is that good but we will order our appetizers eat that then put in our order for our entrees.

We recently visited to celebrate our sons promotion. All dishes were great. I didn't love the Bolognese but I don't really know what authentic Bolognese should taste like. Our waiter helped me create a shrimp dish that was wonderful. The wine room in the back was cozy and crowded but we still felt there was privacy. All had a wonderful time.
Never fails to deliver
Whether a special occasion or just a casual meal at the bar, Fiorinos' food and atmosphere is fantastic. Highly recommended

Dynamite dinner with family. Great for all occasions.
I have been a Fiorinos regular since I moved here in 1992. The food, service, and atmposphere are always outstanding. John, the owner, is always on hand to oversee and welcome you, as are his sons. A fabulous dining experience!
Another wonderful dinner
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful dinner on Saturday night. He ordered Grilled Portobello and Linguine with baby clams, and I did Marinated Grilled Octopus and Black Ink Tagliarini. We had a bottle of Montepulciano too. The meal were all excellent with a great service. We had a wonderful early Valentine's Day dinner. We will absolutely come back this restaurant soon.
Perfect Valentine Venue
Even on a popular dining out evening, Fiorino was spectacular. My pear and prosciutto appetizer was interesting and delicious. Our fish was flavorful and cooked to our preference. The service was attentive but not obtrusive. Highly recommend.
Overpriced, cold & clammy, one-dimensional food
We started with a mealy-mushy grilled octopus doused in a one-dimensional, overly-acidic balsamic glaze (served a shade under lukewarm). It was complimented with my partner's "suspiciously fishy" linguine with baby clams. For the main course, I suppose a Barilla factory is someone's home, but not the "home made" I was expecting from their pappardelle. A metallic ragu complimented the mass produced pasta that was topped with a parmesan mix that was more sawdust than cheese. This was not to be overshadowed by the grisly-gamey, bone-fragmented, overcooked-quail undercooked-risotto. Despite the positive reviews, there is little positive to write about Fiorino.
Excellent service, delicious food.
Fiorino is a great cross between authentic Italian and Modern American cuisine. No complaints.

First time here. Booked our reservation through Open Table. When we got there we were seated right away. Service was excellent. Food was very good. I ordered the double cut pork chop and I have to say it was one of the best I've had. I will most definitely be back.
Fiornio's at it best......
As always, great atmosphere, great service and amazing food. MY wife and I always start of with a quiet drink at the bar to set the mood for what we know will be a wonderful dining experience from beginning to end.

The service is always first rate. A great, diverse menu with a reason am wine list. The place is always packed due to it's consistent high level of food and service. Never disappoints!
Cuisine Artistically and Delectably Crafted!
Fiorino's has been a great find for us. The food is wonderfully crafted and presented artistically. The staff has been there forever and is attentive without being intrusive. The Veal Chop is outstanding and the Lamb Shank is amazing! It rivals a "New York" restaurant any day.
Great food, service was a little rushed and they never asked how our food was. However, overall good experience and will be back! The mussels are fantastic.
Been going to Fiorino many years now and has been consistently good. This time the tartar duo really looked like it was old (avocado topping to chopped tuna) and like older fish was being used. Switched that out for a salad with a vinaigrette dressing and was served some sort of strange salsa-type topping. The entire experience was very odd. If not for consistent service and food I would not recommend it. I think perhaps the newer staff was not trained properly (the longer serving staff are great), but that appetizer was very poor.
Good food. Limited middle level wine by the bottle
Food was good. Not a good selection of mid level bottles of wine. In fact limited wines by the glass too. Atmosphere is ok. They are very accommodating. Nice neighborhood restaurant.
Good Italian in Summit
Fiorino came to Summit from The Village (owners were Minetta Tavern owners) and settled into the neighborhood with reliably good food and service. Their performance has been consistent ever since.
I have enjoyed the Bitici restaurants from when there was The Minetta Tavern and Grand Ticino. My girlfriend and friends always enjoyed the specials, the ambiance and the desserts. When Johnny moved from Greenwich Village, I followed him to Summit and Fiorino. It was a pleasure to see that he brought his staff along. And it was a true pleasure this past December 26th, after an absence of several years to return to the same menu and staff. My children came with me when they were very young and now they pair the wines with our menu. The Ossobuco melted off the bone. The squid ink pasta was aromatic. It was a wonderful return to an old friend.

Christmas Eve. Our server was delightful. A young man with a lovely smile who was extremely nice to our children.
Would go back
Our party of four, all adults, thought the food was excellent, appitizers to dessert. The service was top notch and the decor was very lovely. The selection of entrees offers something everyone would like. We want to return to this restaurant again.
I have had many dinners here and have never been disappointed. Think it is one of the best restaurants I have had the pleasure to visit. Nothing in NYC is better!!!
Great ambiance and delicious food.
We have eaten here many times. The food and service are always excellent. The setting is pretty.
Perhaps the best restaurant my wife and I have been to in a long time! The food was outstanding. The Lamb Shank fell off the bone with a fork! The Giant Pawns were perfectly spiced arabiata. It was quite obvious the staff had been there for years and moved in synch with each other in an attentive but non-intrusive manner. The owner graciously greeted his guests and two sons manage with the same graciousness. TRULY A GREAT FIND FOR US!!!
We've been going to Fiorino for years. It's the closest thing to a New York restaurant that we've found in NJ. The owners and staff are professional and very friendly. The food is consistently good and the service always exceptional!
Fiorini's is arguably the best Italian restaurant
Fiorini's is arguably the best Italian restaurant in Summit. The wait staff is extremely accommodating, especially concerning our table choice. The food is perfect, and the ambiance can be rockin' or romantic, depending where you choose to sit.
One of our favorite restaurants in the area
The service is top notch, the food is outstanding, the wine list is excellent, the ambiance is warm, inviting, fun, but still has that neighborhood feel. It's our favorite restaurant in the heart of Summit.
