I love taking my family there. It's one of our favorite restaurant Here in Frisco.
Creative & Delicious
Visited Edoko for a birthday celebration. Everything we ordered was creative and delicious. I started with the mushroom salad, a wonderful meal in itself! Then we tried the steak on the hot rock. It needed a little seasoning that we added, but the quality was great. We had a few rolls. I especially loved the non-rice rolls! And last, we had the grilled sea bass, which was to die for! Our waiter, Jeremy, was very well informed on all the menu items, and very helpful. We will be back!
Great food and ambiance
I always enjoy Edoko and introducing it to new people. The Edoko Tower is a really great dish to share and I really like the Green Hulk and Speechless rolls. They also have very good cocktails as well. Tried it for lunch for the first time this week and while it wasn't as busy as it is at night, there was a good flow of customers in and out.
We've never been disappointed.
Edoko is one of our favorite sushi restaurants. You should sit at the sushi bar at least one time to watch the chefs prepare the dishes.

Great food and service
My fiancé and I love sushi restaurants but had never been here. We decided to try it out after hearing great reviews from friends. Great decision! Food was excellent, the portions were generous, and the waitress was extremely helpful. We had a little bit of everything: Sea Bass, sashimi, roboku (may be misspelling) steak, rolls, and it was all great. Definitely coming back for more in the future!
Always a winner!
Edoko is one of our favorite "go to" restaurants. The level of service is unmatched and the food is always yummy. Very consistent. The Dallas roll is our fav. The other highlight of this restaurant is Sammie!! We love, love the cocktails that she makes and her warm smile. Not to mention that does not forget a face. We always sit in the bar area, and love it every time.
Went here for Valentine's day weekend. Food and ambiance was great. The value of the food was sub par however. Both my date and I were still hungry after ordering an appetizer, splitting 2 entrées and a dessert for $50 (not including a drink each). Drinks were decent. The more I think about how much I spent vs how much food we ate, the less likely that we'll be going there again. Which is sad because it was tasty and the ambiance was perfect!

Always great. Sushi is our favorite in the area.
Edoko one of the best sushi restaurants in Plano.
Every time we eat at Edoko my husband and I wonder why we don't go more often. The food is not only stellar, the chef always offers seasonal dishes and creative presentation with a unique perspective. We have never had a bad meal. For Valentine's Day (on which we typically avoid restaurants because the prices are usually jacked up and service is bad) we normally eat at home but when I got the email with Edoko's special offerings for the Valentine's weekend - including foie gras and chocolate brownie for dessert we decided to take a chance. An amazing meal all the way around. My only complaint is where we were seated. Most of the restaurant has a hip, bar feel but the side area usually has kids, bad lighting and is louder. Since it was crowded we didn't ask to be moved but definitely not my favorite section. The food made up for it though!
Way too small portions
We arrived 15 minutes late and the reserved table was not held. After some wait, we were seated in the bar area. Myself and friend ordered hot dish worth $15+. The size of my fish was hardly a couple of mouthfuls. There was very little "sea food" in the soup my friend ordered. They charged for soft drink refills - paid 3X3 , a total of $9 for some diluted cranberry juice.
Celebrated our anniversary
My wife and I wanted something different yet close by to celebrate our anniversary. Edoko Sushi was the perfect venue. Upon arrival we were accommodated to a quieter part of the room so we could enjoy each others attention. Our server Jeremy was fantastic in all his recommendations for the food Jalapeno Popper, French Kiss, Geisha Roll, Speechless Roll and Yaegaki Mu DaiGinjo Saki. It was a perfect evening and we are certain to return again.
We always enjoy Edoko!

Fabulous Meal! One of my favorites for sure!
This restaurant is large enough to accommodate groups as well as many individual diners, and the staff seems very well trained and attentive. The sushi was delicious, beautifully presented and prompt to arrive at our table despite it being a busy Friday night. There is a full menu so we will probably branch out from the sushi next time!
LOVE THIS PLACE
We are a sushi family. We all love sushi, and this place is a true find. We have been several times and have had very positive experiences. They are very accommodating, so if you have food sensitivities (like, me... I'm gluten-free) they are very helpful and will make you just about anything if they can. They even have snow crab (for an upcharge) to use instead of imitation crab, which is not gluten free. And, yes, tamari as well. Great quality, and creative rolls… not just your standard stuff, although they will make those for you if you want. The Robata dishes are great, too. Think tapas, but not. Small plates, very tasty, although many of those are NOT gluten-free and neither are the sauces they serve, and there’s not much they can do about that. My husband loves them all. Great service, fun ambiance, and kid-friendly if your kid likes sushi. I’m looking forward to going back on “date night” and sitting in the bar. Hat looks like a lot of fun.
So so...fusion Japanese sushi
Upon entering...impressive lounge-ish feel...you can guess price will be higher than avg... Looks like 2 sides of dinning area once louder music and the other more for just casual dinning...we were greeted promptly and lead to our table...our waiter was great, friendly and fairly quick to take our last minute HH appetizers and drinks order... We got the french kiss roll (no rice) was spicy tuna/crab and on top a thin slice of tuna sashimi...drenched in ponzu sauce with 7 flavor spice...this was very pleasant and light and good to start off then came the tomato maki which is bacon wrapped cherry tomatoes (6x) 2 skewers it was good but we've had better to be honest the center of the tomato was not hot enough. We got a bottle nigori sake with kirin ichiban to pair with our food...hh pricing are great for drinks Then we ordered more...ankimo ($12) really high but tasted very fresh and good! Then we got hamachi kama (yellowtail collar) this was a big let down...it's robata item but it was covered in eel sauce? And cut into half....ok it's fusion I get it but eel sauce completly killed the taste of the fish and there were no ponzu sauce or raddish at all with the fish...this was priced at $10 which isn't bad but next time we'll just have to tell them no sauce just sea salt ... We also got the gyu maki skewer with shishito pepper...this was good as any other place but again covered in sweet eel sauce =(.....why!!!??? Will have to tell them no sauce next time as well...we also got the hot rock (a beef dish) it's sirloin beef which is good but it was too lean ... They also gave butter and mushrooms it's not bad but it's not like the washu/waygu/kobe or tongue we are used to... Sushi nigiri wasn't their strong point I guess we only see people order rolls...we got uni and salmon sushi it was just avg quality at best... Over all this place had a great decor 1 star, great service 1 star, good hh pricing 1 star...3 stars with room to improve...

Best sushi around
I love this place. I am addicted to the Edoko Fire roll and the Panic roll. I have recently discovered the Green Hulk roll and it is becoming a favorite. The menu has lots of options - even for the non-sushi lovers. Great atmosphere, spectacular sushi and awesome service.

First came here on a first date. Have come back and love it. It has just the right amount of asian fusion but also some traditional dishes. The ambiance is great for either a romantic date or even groups of friends.
Consistantly Very Good
This was my third visit to this restaurant. While I don't live in Dallas, I do stay in the Frisco area when I travel there, and enjoy Edoko when in the mood for good sushi. I've always found both the food and service here to be consistently very good. On this trip, I dined with three others. As always, the food was excellent. We ordered the jaguar, bayou, anaconda, edoko fire, and palm springs rolls. Enjoyed all, but the palm spring roll was the unanimous group favorite. We also had the a couple of Robato Yaki items, the buri yaki (yellow tail/scallion) and and ebi bacon (bacon wrapped shrimp). Both good. One in our party had the lobster tail with miso mushroom risotto, which was delicious. Craft cocktails were creative and well made. Will definitely be back the next time we are in the area.
Best Sushi in DFW
Definitely the best sushi I've had in DFW. I've been here a handful of times and it never disappoints. Always fresh. Great rolls.

Our favorite sushi restaurant. We've been going since the first week they opened. Eugene and James always take good care of everyone!
Good sushi and not overpriced. Pretty casual too. Wasn't in love with the rolls we picked bc we were with a group but they were all good! This place is good!!
Excellent Food, Interesting Options, Very Flexible
Perfect for when some want sushi, and others do not! The Robata Yaki choices and hot dishes are great, and the sushi was fresh, unique and delicious. You can also ask for traditional rolls that you see on everyone else's menu, so there really is something for everyone. For the Gluten Free set, they offer REAL SNOW CRAB in addition to imitation crab, which is fantastic. They also have GF soy sauce. Multiple rooms make it suitable for kids or romantic couples in the bar area. Impressive wine list as compared to many restaurants in the area. We will definitely be back!
Usually have great service....not this night
We usually have great service, but on this evening, they were not busy, but our server took forever to take our drink order, forgot to take a food order from one of us (there were only 4) and then it seemed like an eternity to get our check.
Some of the best sushi around!
Edoku has some of the best sushi I have ever eaten. Every roll I have tried has been outstanding and has never needed any soy sauce or anything else to enhance the flavor. I have yet to try a roll or sashimi that I have not liked. Highly recommended!
Stands out in Plano/Frisco
Edoko provides friendly service, fresh food and a great atmosphere. Edoko is a pleasant break/alternative from the plethora of chain restaurants in the Plano/Frisco. We are frequently dinners and typically receive great, friendly, prompt service and consistently good food. We prefer a quiet table and they are very accommodating in this regard, which we appreciate. We have our favorite dishes: Mushroom Salad, Tango Roll, Shrimp Dynamite roll, Geisha Roll but their specials are good as well. We recommend Edoko if you are looking for a pleasant dining experience in the Plano/Frisco area.
FABULOUS TIME HERE
Although we made a reservation and the restaurant was about 30 minutes late in seating us, our experience was an extremely positive one. Service is great and food is even better! The restaurant is beautiful. Loved our "swirly" booth. Restaurant might want to not overbook. My only negative is some of the other customers. I don't understand why people would go to a nice restaurant in sweats and a tee. The clothes looked clean, but come on people!! And men....remove your caps!
I reserved a private table for two, unfortunately I did not get it. Very disappointing , will probably not use open table again..
Quality is above average. I recommend!
Better than most sushi establishments in N Dallas area. Their offering is somewhat mundane (but still better than most) - would do well to offer authentic Japanese sushi item or spice up specials for the sushi purist. I can recommend Edoko. However, they have lots of upside to attract purists that will spend 2X over the casual diner.
Have been there several times never disappointed. Always a pleasant experience.
This is our go to favorite sushi place! Their food is consistently delicious. We had ginger salads, 2 rolls, the Edoko tower and had the green tea chicken (which is cooked) and nothing disappointed.
Still the best sushi in Dallas
Some people may not agree thats good go somewhere else so I can get a table when I want. We have been eating here for almost 5 years, its consistent, fresh and excellent. Occasionally good people watching and good service always. I recommend the French Kiss roll for sushi and for a hot plate you can't go wrong with the pork belly, fatty goodness.
Best sushi restaurant we have tried in the Dallas / Frisco / Plano area. You have to try the speechless roll and butterfly kiss roll.

Tables are close, but the food and service were outstanding.
Good food; service not as good as usual.
Edoko has some of the best sushi and robato food around, but on this trip, the service was definitely lacking. The food arrived and was delicious (and arrived fast), but after that, the waiter seemed to disappear. We had to ask other waiters to find him for us. Not what I expect when paying over $100 for a meal for two people (with wine, of course). I also much prefer the main dining area. The room off to the left of the entry is out of sight, and therefore, perhaps out of the minds of the servers.
Exellent choice for couples
Great selection of sushi and sashimi, fresh and excellent sushi rolling skill. Great location as well, close to the Stonebriar mall.
