Catch 35 - Naperville Ratings and Reviews
Wonderful, as always
I've been to Catch 35 a few times and it is always wonderful. They have stiff competition in the downtown Naperville area but they certainly hold their own. The food is great and affordable, especially the Grand Prix menu. The only thing I can criticize the restaurant for is lack of personality. In a downtown with Hugo's Frog Bar and Heaven on 7, it's easy to remember Catch 35 is a multi-location business and not an unique experience. Still, the slick and modern restaurant is delicious and had a romantic, modern feel.

Great food and Nice Environment
Service here was very good! Waitress and support staff were very attentive and quick to get everything out to our table. Best bread and fried calamari in Naperville and surrounding areas. Noise level was appropriate. Great place to go for a date.
love this place!
Ask for Brent as your server. he is very helpful. A good place for a special occasion or a tegular meal. Lots of options for everyone and the food is always well prepared.
The food was excellent from the appetizer to the desert. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the food selections. Thank you for making our dinner very special. Cheri Folkers
A truley excellent dinner
This was one of those rare dinning experiences where i would not change a thing. All of the food was absolutely spot on - everything from the bread to the appetizers to the entrees and the dessert (and wine of course). The atmosphere was very relaxing and our server had the professionalism that we used to get during the Charlie Trotter days.
Memorable Birthday celebration
We celebrated my husbands birthday with a wonderful meal at Cat h 35 last Wednesday. Our server was wonderful, attentive but not intrusive. The wine list excellent and there was even a 3 course Prix Fix menu which we were not aware of. There were 6-8 choices of starters, main meal and any dessert on the menu. It was perfect for me and the salmon I chose was delicious. My husband had his heart set on a Sashimi tuna steak and loved it. We shared a crepe brûlée for dessert and it. Was the perfect finish to a wonderful meal. Will definetly return soon to Catch 35

Wonderful meal, as always! One of my favorite places to dine!
Hadn't been for awhile because we always thought it would be more than we wanted to spend but you have to order from the fixed price menu, three courses for $35, great food, amazing value! Wine is pricey. Lamb chops are so yummy and so are the mussels. Special date night, we'll be back!
Our Waiter really knew his stuff
In addition to being very attentive and anticipating our needs quite well our waiter proved to be quite knowledgeable on several food and drink related topics. We enjoyed his sharing his Scotland experiences.

Brent was a good server. We would go back again!
Great location for group outing. Great seafood offering and service was very good. A bit pricey but good seafood usually is.
We have been going to Catch 35 for the last 4 years for Easter. The food was good and service was good, could have been a bit more attentive but overall not bad. A little disappointed that the pre fixe meal option was gone and the dessert selection didn't appeal to any of us. We will see what happens next time.
Great Easter Brunch
My whole family was so pleased with the quality of the brunch. The food was great and the staff were very attentive. Did not mind taking our photos, etc.
Excellent Easter Brunch
The food was outstanding. The service was second to none. Would recommend this brunch to anyone looking for that special place on Easter.
A nice place for Easter Brunch.
Unique menu that was small and yet varied. Desserts fell a bit short in comparison to everything else and it would have been nice to have another seafood option from a seafood restaurant. Overall though it was wonderful. And we enjoyed the bloody mary too.
Very attentive service and excellent seafood. We had a party of six and all the dinners were excellent and a very good value.
Fresh Seafood in Downtown Naperville
Food was fresh and very tasty. I especially enjoyed the Haddock chowder-so buttery and creamy. Shrimp tacos and salad were better than average. Great service.

Service slow, food not presented as ordered, sauce on good instead of on the side. Tables so close together you had to move if the table next to yours needed to get up. Menu changed and no prix fix was available. Will give it a lot of thought before I go back
Slow service. Food was over cooked. Overall, bad server and cooks.
Mothers' Birthday !!

Very good food and service. Avoid the booths behind the bar due to employee and bartender talk that is next to the booths. Wasn't fully profanity laden, but rougher than I cared to hear during a nice dinner. We will go back but choose our table more carefully.

We had a party of six plus a newborn infant and couldn't have asked for better service, food or guests seated around us! Everything was perfect for all!

We have been to this restaurant many times before and have been very happy with it, however this time was not up to par. Things seemed very rushed. We got our salads and before we were finished with them our entrees arrived which were mediocre at best. We have always recommended Catch 35 as one of our favorite places to eat, however, after this last experience, it will be quite some time before we go back. We were treating friends of ours to what we hoped would be a fabulous dinner, only to be very disappointed. We can not say that we would recommend this restaurant for anything at this point in time.
Wonderful Dinner for 4
Had guest in town and took them for a dinner treat. Appetizers, food, & wine were all great, we all enjoyed ourselves. A great spot to take guests.
It just doesn't get any better!
This was our second lunch because we loved the first and to try a few different dishes. We had Scallops and Calamari for appetizers, Grilled Salmon and Ahi sashimi as entrees and another order of Scallops. Yes, they are that good! You'd be hard pressed to find a pickier seafood eater than me. This place is Nirvana! Creme Brûlée for dessert which I can normally take or leave. It was excellent. Our waiter was a magician, there when we wanted him and scarce when we didn't. Superb service. Don't think about going to Catch 34. Just go! Catch 34 has just become my "go to" restaurant for seafood. Beats the pants off of places like Chinns and other highly touted restaurants. Go. You'll love it.

The food was excellent and the waiter was attentive but also paced us to the relaxing evening we wanted.
Food was great, service excellent, didn't feel rushed.
Great Place for a Meeting or just Dinner
Really loved the food and the ambiance. Great service. Stephanie, the manager there, was just a delight and made sure my guests were well taken care of. Outstanding.

Service was great and enjoyed the resturant week menu
Perfect atmosphere, good food and great music!
Girls night out for fish. Waiter was charming and service timed perfectly. The lighting is soft but not so dark that your eyes tire. Music was delightfully artsy and nicely paced for conversation. Overall great experience. It was a Monday night so very quiet and accommodating.
Carlos was a very friendly and attentive waiter.
We were disappointed that crab was substituted for the lobster in the Oscar entree.
Restaurant Week Choice
I liked the options on the special Restaurant Week menu. That is what brought us back to Catch 35. Although I had a reservation, I did have to wait 10-15 minutes for my table. The service was very good and I didn't have to wait very long for the meal.
Always excellent food and service.
The restaurant is always welcoming and service oriented. The fish was elegantly prepared and served hot! We had wine and drinks for all and the server was great!!
For being a first time patron at this restaurant I was happily impressed. The poke was by far my favorite dish. The key lime pie was very limey but good consistency. The noise level was the only problem I had with this visit. I felt that the music was a little too loud since I felt I was shouting a little bit. However, that would not make me come back again. Great time overall!!!
Three of us had dinner on a recent Saturday night, during Naperville restaurant week. We each chose the less expensive of the prix fixe options. I had filet medallions and a kale salad. My two guests had seafood and soup/salad. My guests said the seafood was good. The problem is I ordered my steak medium and it was well done. My two guests had eaten most of their food by the time the server stopped by to see how things were so I did not feel comfortable having to make them wait while a new steak was prepared for me. The waiter apologized but it did not seem sincere. Nor did he comp us coffee or wine or anything (maybe they don't do that if it is restaurant week?). So I might go back again; hadn't been here in a few years, but won't come back in a hurry.
