Refreshing drinks followed by scrumptious appetizers. Top notch food and service. Excellent French wine. Finished off with small desserts, one a three-spoons size of chocolate mousse. Indulge yourself.

We celebrated Father’s Day at Café Renaissance, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The special Father’s Day menu was beautifully crafted, offering a perfect blend of indulgence and elegance. The highlight of our meal was the tender filet mignon, cooked to absolute perfection, paired with Chilean sea bass that was delicate, buttery, and truly melt-in-your-mouth. The flavors were rich, harmonious, and beautifully balanced. The ambiance was warm and sophisticated, with just the right festive touch for the occasion. The staff made every guest feel valued, and their attention to detail made the whole experience feel truly special. From the carefully selected wines to the decadent desserts, everything exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Café Renaissance, for helping us create such a memorable Father’s Day. Wow... glass shards on table cloth, broken A/C, but worst was owner using tablet with sound running loud enough... I did NOT need to hear trumps voice during my dinner.... very disappointed

Food as always was outstanding. I enjoyed a duck appetizer and surf (haddock) and turf (lamb) entree. My wife had a salmon appetizer and sea bass platter. Everything was cooked exactly right and tasted great. The wine selection by the glass was adequate, if you go for wine I recommend getting it by the bottle. They generously gave us a free dessert sampler. The service was friendly and attentive. We went on a weeknight, so the atmosphere was more subdued than on a weekend. That suited us, but if you want a little more energy I recommend a weekend evening.

Cafe Renaissance is truly a dining experience. The attention to service and detail is excellent. We had not dined there for several years, but we were immediately recognized and acknowledged. We took family members that have never been before, and they are now hooked on it and will make it a regular dining location. Thanks for a great meal and great service.

Excellent restaurant to celebrate special occasions. Delicious food, friendly service, attention to detail. We have been dining at Café Renaissance for many years and always enjoy an unhurried evening with the same charming wait staff and welcoming owner/host, Saeed Abtahi.

Excellent choice for a fine dining experience or special occasion such as anniversary or birthday. The service was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The food was excellent and the portion sizes were appropriate. Would highly recommend.

I will continue to drive from NW DC to Cafe Renaissance to enjoy the amazing hospitality and phenomenal cuisine. The owner, chef and waiter Henry make us feel like family. Wine list will compliment any budget. Handcrafted martinis kicked off amazing dining experience.
