I went here with my friends on my birthday. It's a really nice and casual French restaurant. The food was delicious. I really like the half roasted chicken and the scallop risotto. When it came to dessert, I had a quite a surprise because it was my birthday. I absolutely loved the strawberry dessert with vanilla ice cream. I was light enough that it wasn't too heavy. I would definitely come back to this place soon. I would love to try other food on their menu.
Absolutely delicious and authentic! The waiter was so kind and made sure our food was to our liking. The spices were unique and delightful. I would highly recommend this neighborhood restaurant as a little gem. Quaint and Parisian. Love it!
Perfect French Dining
I like to come here every time I stay in NoPa. It's your ideal French restaurant - the menu is completely spot on authentic. Everything is delicious, too. Specials are always very interesting. Great wine list for bottle and by the glass. The service is caring, attentive, and friendly but not overbearing. They never rush you but if you're in a hurry, they will accommodate. It's basically everything I love in a dining experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Can't wait to return!
Great food, service - meh...
Food was good, service was not consistent... super attentive, almost intrusive in the beginning, then nothing after the food arrived. It was my hubby's birthday and the kids saw some other patrons celebrating their birthday with the staff singing to them and the kids asked our waiter if he could do the same... he said sure and asked for my hubby's name. We ordered way too much food (though when I asked my waiter if we ordered too much, he said "oh, no...") so we had no room for dessert... in fact, we took home more than half of 3 entrees... The waiter came back to ask if he were going to order dessert and when we said no, he took away the menus and it took about another 20 mins to get our check... in the mean time, the kids asked if they were going to sing happy birthday to daddy and I said I don't know. My kids asked the waiter if he was still going to sing... and all he said was "sorry..." what?!?! again, food was great (especially the beef cheeks), but service was sub-par...

Wonderful place for a Birthday Dinner
I had been once before to this charming French restaurant and wanted to share this special experience with my daughter on her 32nd birthday. The food was exceptional, the service the best and the special attention given to the birthday girl was so memorable. It felt like a little trip to Paris and I will definitely be back soon. We live in Sonoma and Bistro Central Parc is our new favorite SF restaurant.

Fantastic food and service to match! It was quiet and somewhat romantic but it was also Easter Sunday evening and we were one of only two tables there.
We were surprising a friend with brunch for her birthday, the staff at this restaurant was very accommodating and friendly. They took care of the cake we brought, put the candles in it and presented it without any issue or fuss. They even switched our tables to accommodate our growing party. Every single person we dealt with at this restaurant was amazing. Thank you so much for a great experience and great food! I had the Salmon Benedict and it was great!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood. The ambiance is upbeat, but quiet enough to have a two person conversation. Everything is delicious, but my favorites are the French onion soup, the mussels in white wine sauce, the beef cheeks, and any special :)

Nice little spot for a romantic French meal
We were looking for a little French bistro for our late Valentine's dinner, and are happy to have found this restaurant. Service was quite nice and attentive - love the French accents of course. Wine, Salad, Coquille St Jacques were all absolutely delicious, but the Boullabaisse left something to be desired - unfortunately it was sort of bland. Profiteroles were a nice ending. We'll go back and probably not order the boullabaisse!
one of the best in the city.
If you're looking for a great getaway from the usual suspects, head over to this French restaurant hidden in plain sight. This French bistro is an amazing night out. Join other foodies into a most flavorful evening of libations paired with one of the best French food in San Francisco. The staff here at Central Parc are a wonderful addition to reminding us of what's it's like to eat and be merry. Gracious and caring, the waiters, cooks, and host will definitely leave you with a smile and of course, a happy belly. Viva La France. Viva Bistro Central Parc!
Very authentic French bistro-type restaurant
As frequent travelers to France, I wanted to take my wife to a French restaurant for Valentines Day. The menu was varied and offered us selections which we had not seen here. Service was very good, but it could have been a touch more attentive. The food was very good, and prepared properly (medium rare steak! pommes frites were hot and salty!) Profitteroles excellent! We will return soon!
Great experience overall
Had a great dining experience over Valentine's weekend! The food was amazing and the staff really made us feel at home. Will be going back.
Was able to get a reservation fairly easily close to Valentine's Day
A gem in NOPA
I love this bistro. The food is excellent and the ambience is great. I went there with my family and friends for Sunday brunch... It was a quiet Super Bowl Sunday morning. The service was excellent and the waitress was so, so nice to the little kids! The menu has classic brunch dishes like eggs benedict, eggs florentine, pancakes, waffles, french toast to classic french dishes like croque madame, croque monsieur. The french onion soup was just right... actually perfect.

Great discovery in SF
I live in the Bay area and was totally winging it looking for a nice restaurant for dinner in SF for hosting 2 of town friends. Love french food and found this little gem online. Made reservations several days ahead for a Sunday night. My friends had just been on a 19 day cruise ending in SF and had just had a lengthy over the top dining experience on the ship. They loved this restaurant and so did I. I had the best duck w/lardones dish I have ever eaten--- beautiful presentation and the owner offered to substitute anything I would like for the potatoes. I had risotto and it was fabulous. My friends were equally impressed, and one had a dietary restriction that was very graciously accommodated as well. The staff is very personable---the owner very attentive, and the service excellent. I will be back again with my husband and look forward to trying more dishes on the interesting menu.
Enchanted Evening at Bistro Central Parc
We went for our wedding anniversary and could not have had a better experience. Our waiter was friendly and helpful. He explained the menu extremely well and helped with our wine pairing. The food was amazing! My wife had the special filet with Foi Gras and I had the rack of lamb. Both were cooked to perfection. The creme Brule for desert was a great cap to a fantastic night. We have found some great restaurants through Open Table, but Bistro Central Parc has been our favorite so far.
Had another great meal with excellent service before the theater. Jerome is friendly and helps us always select some really good choices. The appetizers are always interesting and tasty.
Bistro Central Parc was a great restaurant!
Loved our dinner and all the staff - they were very attentive. The wines by the glass were good and the pours very generous (I hate it when restaurants skimp on the amount of wine they pour into each glass - no such problem at BCP! That makes it a destination in and of itself)
We had a wonderful dining experience at Bistro Central Parc for our party of four ... There were interesting choices, the food was freshly prepared, and the service was both helpful and attentive. Two of our choices, a halibut and a veal dish, were specials of the day and both were delicious. I would definitely go back and would recommend to friends.

Despite making a reservation for 9:45 pm, we were made to wait for 45 minutes. They raised the price of the steak from 25 to 33, and also ran out of the bearnaise sauce and substituted it with butter. The pate tasted like it came out of a can. The food is overpriced and mediocre at best.
More restaurants should follow Bistro Central Parc's lead. You can tell everyone put a lot of love into running this place.
Wine list superb
Jerome ensured our dining experience was pleasurable. The menu is consistently pleasurable, adventuresome to one's palate. The Squid salade was superb, as everything else was: BeeF Cheeks, Filet Mignon & Coquilles St.Jacques. Dessert is always a nice ending that is savored.
Like a bistro in the french countryside
We travel often to France, mainly hiking from little inn to little inn in the countryside. The food here reminded us so much of the best of what you find at those little inns--relatively simple, but highly creative and really delicious. The prices were also quite reasonable for the quality. The service was top notch. It was moderately noisy inside (we were there on a Saturday night), but where we sat outside (with heater) was nicely quiet.
Don't Miss the Bistro
The Bistro never disappoints and in fact just keeps getting better and better. Don't miss it!
I love it here.
This is my neighborhood go-to place for a nice dinner. The food is excellent, and the service is always good. Jerome, Alex, and the rest of the crew always take very good care of us. The food is pretty standard bistro fare, but executed very well. Everything I've had here is good, but my favorite is the mussels au curry madras plus frites. I always have a fabulous dinner.

I came to this place for my birthday after a recommendation from a coworker. I was just in Paris about a month ago and talking about some of the great food I had over there and she said I would like this place. We had the white sauce mussels for the appetizer and it was delicious! For the main course, I ordered the scallop risotto in lobster sauce which was INCREDIBLE! Everyone else was extremely pleased with their orders. On top of the food being delicious, the service was amazing. They knew it was my birthday and made a big show to sing happy birthday to me. In addition, I also received a coffee mug! Overall I would definitely come back!
French restaurant with a local San Fran flair
We wanted to find a French restaurant that had a local neighborhood feeling and this was IT! The host and waiter both spoke French which was an important touch for our French visitors. All four of us had something different and it all worked. Great wine, great ambiance, thanks!
One of our favorites
Bistro Central Parc is a consistent experience of wonderfully prepared and delicious french-inspired food. We love the rich and flavorful dishes, and that the menu changes so frequently - allowing us to return frequently as well and still be surprised. It is, and will remain, one of our very favorites!
