We loved the wide selection of food and the selection in wines as well. A little bit of everything for everyone!
Awesome. Had the best burgers. Good service and excellent food.
We went here for brunch for my sisters bachelorette weekend. It was great because not everyone wanted bottomless mimosas (some non-drinkers and some pregnant) and we weren't forced for everyone to get the bottomless deal. I am bummed that the website said the brunch bottomless deal was $28 and it was actually $29. The online menu was also not updated and didn't indicate that some dishes had up charges. The food was incredible and the service was very attentive and kind. Just recommend updating the website!!
We came for brunch and really enjoyed it. Some got the champagne brunch and our mimosas were continually flowing and delicious. The French Toast was great, the norwegian was good (although a tad bit too salty). The pasta was very, very good. We love A+B for the crispy brussel sprouts and were disappointed this time around. Not crispy at all. Still very good, but somewhat soggy and sad. Hopefully it will be better next time (because there will be a next time!).
Fabulous Food and Great Service
We went here before a concert in Cleveland Park and I was surprised at how fabulous the food was. We went with another couple. None of us eat meat. But, we all eat fish. The fish dishes that we each had were wonderful. The portions were very large and the flavors were delicious. The fish was fresh, tasty, well presented, and so tasty. I will definitely return.
Had High Hopes
The bottomless brunch package is a great deal. $29 for bottomless mimosas, an appetizer, and an entree. However, I was less than thrilled with the food. I got the chicken and waffles. While it looked pretty, the chicken was bland (more like no seasoning) and the waffles tasted like air. When I go to brunch I want all the "bad" stuff I don't normally eat during the week. Thankfully you can't mess up a mimosa :) The service was great... they let us sit and drink and ramble until a little after 4:00 pm (brunch ends at 3) Once we finally realized they were closed, we quickly left- they looked glad to see us go, but never once politely told us they were closed. Bottom line-- great place and great atmosphere, but the food leaves a lot to be desired.

Friendly neighborhood spot. Good service. Good wine. But the food is just up to being neighborhood-ok. The pork chop was thick, but chewy and far too salty.

Good Value for the $$
First time going and have lived here for years, what a nice surprise! Great food, delicious bread, good prices and will definitely return. Mussel bisque, beet salad, short rib pierogie, and skate wing made a great meal with no room for dessert.

Good food, great social space
This is a perfect place for a date or a group of friends. It is cozy and inviting. On a weekend night it wasn't too busy which is surprising. The food was spectacular! The brussel sprouts are great, and the mussel bisque was amazing. I look forward to going there again.

We had a great time. Fun, relaxed setting with good food at a reasonable price point. Cocktails and wine were great as well. Service was good as well.
Very solid and a menu with interesting choices.
Meal was solid and cocktails were good. Service was rushed and awkward. Not sure if she was slammed or what but she kept darting off...for example we wanted to order cocktails and charcuterie but she walked off after we got the cocktails ordered and we had to ask her to come back. Also the wild board salami could have been deli counter pepperoni and I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference. Skate wing and lamb bolognese were both very tasty.
Good for Brunch, Service Lacking
My family of three met a friend for brunch before heading to the zoo on Saturday. The restaurant was nice and the food was very good. My poached egg was cooked perfectly and the home fries were on point! Unfortunately, our experience was clouded by our server. She was not friendly and did not greet us as we sat that table. She sort of just appeared and said, "Drinks?" She did not check on our table at all once our food arrived, so when we had a request for something that was missing from our order, we actually had to finally ask another close by server, who was very friendly and took care of our needs. We also had our son with us, but our server did not mention the off-the-menu kids option to us until after we ordered. That was frustrating because we would have preferred to have ordered that option had we known it was available. Overall, I would go back but definitely would want a different server.
Dead but ok
The night we took a young couple there for his birthday, we were 1 of 2 tables!! There literally was no one there- granted it was Monday and it was icing/raining outside. So it was not much of a party atmosphere, but our server was great and the food was quite good. Being one of the top 100 DC restuarants, I was expecting it to be a little better than it was.

Good but not Great for Valentine
I went to Ardeo for Valintines day because it was recommended a a romantic spot. It wasn't romantic all that romantic. They had us sitting in the section right beside the bar, so it was a bit loud and people were standing to close to our table. It's a good spot for casual dinning but not a romantic spot. The bread was really good.
Good for catching up with friends
Decent wine, tasty food and a decibel level that isn't through the roof makes this a good place to go when you need to catch up with a friend.
Food was delicious and nicely presented ...
Food was delicious and nicely presented but both of our dishes (steak and salmon) were substantially undercooked. Read: rare when we wanted medium. Waitress and manager both were gracious enough to get them redone and buy us a dessert for the hassle, but it was not a busy night, so we would have expected better. Very nice wine and a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere though.
All around nice
Pleasant dining room, quiet (we were there early on a Sunday evening), comfortable seating. Variety but not too many menu choices. All the dishes we had were excellent in presentation and taste.
Great Atmosphere, Very Good Food
I've noticed the food critics recommend Ardeo + Bardeo in the Q&A sections and it was convenient to meet friends from Bethesda when we were coming from Arlington. We loved the atmosphere. Casual and cozy. The guys loved the skate wing and mahi mahi, while another loved her pizza. I had to mussels and shrimp in a green curry sauce. The shrimp were a bit overcooked and the curry lacked any punch. The Caesar salads were over dressed. The apple dessert was a hit but the chocolate wasn't a stand out. I couldn't finish it and even my hubby could only finish a few bites. Still I'd go back and try other dishes.
Great for boozy brunch!
I came here with my boyfriend and best friend. We opted for the $29 bottomless brunch and it was amazing. They both had delicious steak & eggs while I had the grilled salmon. The service was friendly and paid close attention to when our mimosas needed refilling. Would definitely go back!
My friends and I dined at Ardeo + Bardeo for the first time during Restaurant Week. It was great. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. When they didn't have any more of the wine I ordered, our waiter brought me a sample of a suggested alternative for me to try. Everything we ate was delicious, well prepared, and perfectly portioned. I definitely need to go back!
Really tasty, low-key brunch spot
Came here with a former colleague for brunch and indulged in the $29 bottomless brunch option--bottomless mimosas, one appetizer, one entree. I highly recommend the shrimp and grits. We split to entrees and the kitchen did a fabulous and thoughtful job spitting them onto two plates. It was enough food, but not excessive. But we got our money's worth with several drink refills. The restaurant was pretty empty when we got there around 11:30, but I was happy for the relative quite and calm since other places in DC can get so crazy for Saturday brunch. I would definitely go back and recommend Ardeo+Bardeo. We were happy to discover it!

Thanks for staying open during the storm on Friday! Awesome service, delicious food, great drinks!
Burrata flat bread was delicious. Calamari was good but undercooked. Chicken liver pate/mousse was too thinly spread on an overly large crostini and accompanied with beets which took away from the pate flavor. I would have preferred the pate to be served on a more traditional charcuterie platter that allows the diner to spread the pate themselves and add accompaniments of their liking. Cocktails and overall bar menu were excellent.

There is absolutely nothing critical I can say about A+B. We had NYE dinner here and everything from the service(thank you Tess and Franklin) to the food and the wine were amazing! I am looking forward to returning to try out the regular menu.
good food, medium quality service
The trout was quite good and the pumpkin creme brûlée was great. The squash soup was also very good. They were out of steaks which seemed bizarre and disappointed the red meat lover in our party. The cookies with the creme brûlée were not worth the calories and clearly just came from a box. Our server seemed far more attentive to the other parties in the restaurant who were clearly younger and cooler than we were!
Food was excellent, service very slow.

Great food as usual. Took a while.
Excellent food, presented well. Strangely, it took a long time to get the first course and every course thereafter. The restaurant did not seem jammed, but perhaps they had trouble due to a large party of 8 or so who were there just ahead of my party of 2. Staff was friendly and the bottomless mimosa truly were.
