About 315 Martinis and Tapas
The 315 restaurant at the Historic Greenbriar Inn is a comfortable yet elegant setting for virtually every occasion. You can cozy up to one of two fireplaces on the main floor, have one of our famously hand-crafted martinis in our full bar, or enjoy tapas and dinner inside the restaurant or outside on our deck or patio within a garden setting, weather permitting! Our menu features a large selection of Tapas, drawing from cuisines around the world, as well as selected dinner items. The menu lends itself to groups who enjoy sharing different dishes together, as well as the more traditional “date night” fare.

On Tuesday, Friday and Saturday night the 315 offers soft blues, jazz and contemporary music from 6:00-9:00. Our musicians are well known in this area and highly talented.
We have been catering in this area for 27 years. We offer a very broad range of choice and a large selection of menus. Our goal is to tailor the menu to your budget and taste. Many recommendations are available upon request. Check our website for details.
We only have on-street parking but have never had any complaints as to accessibility. We have little competition for parking at night as we are in a semi-residential area.
Private Party Facilities:
During the day we often hold meetings, brunch and lunch, high tea, cooking classes etc. Even weddings. But our restaurant opens mid-afternoon at 3:15 so we try to wrap up private events by 4:00. For smaller groups we do accommodate them in the dining room, but rarely book the entire dining room for private parties during our restaurant hours.

315 Martinis and Tapas Ratings and Reviews
315 Martini's and Tapas
A very enjoyable dining experience. It was nice to have a choice of eating light (tapas) or an entree. Both were very good. Loved the musician Bill Bozley. Definitely a place to go back to.
Amazing service at this wonderful restaurant!
My wife and I have stayed here in their quaint rooms twice now and have eaten at the restaurant both times. The service from the staff is amazing as they really go out of their way to make your experience a great one. We are always looking for something new and different. 315 has been around for a little while now, but we live about 60 miles away and have only just found it in the last few years. Great food and atmosphere for an Anniversary or just a nice date night. Thanks to the staff members for being great!
Loved the tapas food. It is small and loud with the live music. Great atmosphere and service.
Valentine's Date with my hubby
Ambiance was wonderful, soft live music that was outstanding. The food was great! Our waiter was very welcoming, kind, and attentive, though we noticed other tables received bread and we didn't. We were well into our meal by the time I made this realization and didn't bother to mention anything. My husband also asked a couple of questions about a dish on the menu as he didn't know what it was, and it was obvious that the waiter didn't know much about it either, and didn't really answer his questions. Overall it was a great meal and I would recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or date night.
Great Valentine date spot
We were seated in the fireplace room, which was quieter and more romantic than the main dining room/bar area, but we could still hear the lovely music wafting in from the main area, at just the right decibel level for us. The tapas dishes we had were absolutely wonderful - - we started with cocktails and the Mediterranean tapas plate. Then, on to wonderful red wine, and tapas plates including curried shrimp, huckleberry meatballs, and chicken cakes with curry sauce. We ended the meal with coffee and a wonderful flourless chocolate cake. Our server was perfect - - attentive, smart, not intrusive. Perfect dinner !
Great Valentines Day
Despite the obnoxious millenials in a nearby table who were impatient abd mean to the GREAT waitress, we loved our dinner. We will be back!!
Took my fiance there for valentines day and it was amazing. Food was great the wine was good and music set a very nice ambiance. Over all 5 stars
Good food. Meh ambiance in the main dining room.
Meh ambiance in the main dining room. Rows of tables crammed together. Uncomfortable chairs. Live music was great, but way too loud in the main dining room, which doesn't have great acoustics. Kind of a bummer for what was supposed to be a nice pre-Valentine's Day date with my husband. Next time we'll ask to sit in one of the rooms closer to the door where it's definitely quieter. Service, food and wine were great.
great music, amazing drinks, good food
everything is pretty chill, love it here. nice little romantic spot, and even good for a small gathering of friends or a place to chat and hear good music while you drink some unique drink connections.
Great neighborhood find!
A friend recently went here for the first time and recommended it to me very highly so my husband and I went for my birthday and it was wonderful! The pork chops with figs were the best I've ever had. My husband loved the fajitas. It might be considered a little pricey to some but we are fine with paying more for real food and not something that came in a package and was reheated like so many places now. Good wine selection, although I'm no expert by any stretch of the imagination. The entertainment was great! The service was excellent. We will definitely go again. It's the salmon for me next time!
Delicious food and drinks, great music!
We were in CDA for a weekend and some local friends recommended 315. We listened to the talented Echo Elysian while working our way through the delicious drink and tapas menu. The huckleberry meatballs were amazing, and the ahi was a surprisingly large portion. I was also a huge fan of the beet salad and the brownie batter ice cream. The curry shrimp was good, and maybe alone would have been great, but compared to the other delicious options, I would probably pass the next time. The drinks were outstanding and I would could see us going back the next time we are in town! Overall a big winner!
Our server, Michael, did a great job of suggesting wine and food. Very good service.
Quaint and lovely
I am from Spokane and 315 and Greenbriar Inn are worth the trip to Couer D'Alene. The food was delicious, the service was stellar and the owner Kris, was absolutely lovely. The rooms at the Inn are quaint and lovely. I will definitely be back. ..sooner than later!
Was not impressed with this place after being recommended by friends. The best plat of the evening was the yellow and red beet salad. The tapas portions were too small and simply not on par with other tapas experiences we have had across the country. Staff seemed short-handed and inattentive. Restaurant furnishings, although we know they were going for more of an antique setting, were uncomfortable. Just not enough about this place that would motivate us to come back.
Character, Charm & Gastronomic Delights!
Our evening was a delight in every way. The property is a delight to visit, a nicely preserved historical home that offers an intimate setting whether indoors or outside on the deck. The character of the property comes through in every detail while offering every modern convenience and none of the old-building squeaks and creaks we've encountered in similar properties! Our meal was wonderful, with nicely-sized portions that allowed a bit of room for the scrumptious cheesecake for dessert! Although I'm not a foodie, we will definitely return to enjoy the wonderful food and intimate atmosphere. The wait staff was attentive without hovering, very welcoming and pleasant in all their interactions during our visit. Our evening entertainer, Echo Elysium, offered up a wonderful serving of R&B music that completed the whole experience. Absolutely perfect date night in a delightfully romantic setting.
i WISH THIS RESTAURANT WAS IN DENVER
We eat every time we go to Coeur d'Alene and have a great time. The live entertainer was really good and the drinks very tasty.Hopefully will get back again soon.
We enjoyed our dinner here. My only issue is the live music. I missed that somehow when researching the restaurant. The music was good but is not what I prefer, others may.
What a nice surprise hidden in this neighborhood. This beautiful home, with such an interesting history, has been converted to a warm and inviting restaurant. There are multiple rooms with cozy nooks, as well as plenty of patio space. To our surprise, there was live entertainment with fabulous talent. However, the star of the evening was the amazing tapas dishes, as well as a delicious beet salad.
We looked up this place on Yelp and decided to try it. Very special interior of an old Victorian. Was once a brothel. The martini list was 3 pages long. We tried 4 different ones. The tapas were all great, but the crab cakes could have been crispier. Salads were inviting. Lots of huckleberries. Apple dessert was tasty too. Would recommend it to anyone.
The martinis were outstanding as was the food. Our waitress was very attentive but not overwhelming.
An unexpected find.
315 is housed in an old signature Coeur d'Alene brick home built in 1908. It was evidently built with care in order to display the builder's capabilities. Buildings like this can take on a life quite apart from their varied uses through time. In it's current permutation - a restaurant and bar - the home lives on and adds to its use well. As for our experience at 315, I can only say it was amazing. We ended up listening to the band which was playing on the lawn from the balcony until they stopped playing at 09:00. We just ordered random tapas and drank their unique martinis. The staff were knowledgeable and professional. The food and drinks came quickly. We will definitely go back next month when we return.
Great experience. Ordered from tapas me ...
Great experience. Ordered from tapas menu for 2 of us. Everything was wonderful. We had hoped to sit outside, which looked beautiful, but the weather didn't cooperate. There was an acoustic guitar musician playing, which was a nice touch.
Fun and energetic and wonderful food. Ordered several appetizers and enjoyed everything. Our waitress was amazing and fun.
Great Car d'Alene View
We enjoyed drinks and dinner while watching the Car d'Alene cruise. A busy time but the server did a great job of keeping up.
I love that it is located in an historic house that has a story! The food was good. The menu is some what limited. We ended up ordering a mixed appetizer plate and three different tapas. The spiked Huckleberry Lemonade was very good and refreshing for a warm evening.
They have it all at 315
Great food, unique atmosphere, interesting music, outstanding staff and creative drinks :-)
The food was fantastic!! The artichoke dip was especially great! It was a lot of food for tapas plates!! We also tried the potato potstickers which were so good, the cheese plate which was great! And the fish tacos!! So yum!!! I will be back!
We chose this restaurant as it was one we have been wanting to try for awhile. It was a little pricey but very nice atmosphere for our special occasion. They had a guitar player that sang and was very entertaining and loved his choice of songs. It was a little loud and hard to hear my husband and we were at the very back of the room from where he played. Overall though it was a nice night out for us and will keep this restaurant in mind for another special occasion. Would like to go back there in the much warmer weather and sit outside as they have a very nice outdoor area!
This is one of our favorite restaurants in CDA. The food, service and music are always perfect. It's worth going!
Used to be Better
Our server took a long time before finally coming to our table. My wife asked about 2 wines. The Server said she would be glad to bring a taste. That was the last we saw of her for 20 minutes. We finally snagged her and she said "Oops, I forgot you didn't I". She was just about to take off again without asking if we might like order since we had about a half hour to study the menu. We ordered a meal of several tapas. When we finished, we ordered desert and coffee with it. I asked for a refill, the Server brought me a 1/2 cup and said that was all that was in the pot, and left. I assumed she would return in a bit and fill it up, but no, I guess that would have been expecting too much. Keep in mind this was not even close to closing time. the restaurant was still about half full. French onion soup: The bread and cheese topping covered only about 1/2 the bowl. This may have been due to the size of the bow. The soup itself was bland and did not have any depth of flavor. it was more like a mild broth. Portobello Mushroom: The flavor of the sauce was overpowering and reminiscent of frozen “Bagel Bites”. Could not taste the mushroom or the sausage. Black and White Ahi: This has been my favorite dish since they started serving it years ago. It was over cooked and the wasabi aioli was so bland there no wasabi taste at all. If our Server was a bit more attentive, I would have requested a side of wasabi so I could have spiced it up a bit. The wasabi soy sauce was the same with no hint of wasabi or other flavorings. Berry Crumble: We thought the Server said it was a berry crumble, but it turned out to be apple. The “crumble” was a granola type mix that was like eating cereal rather than a traditional crumble. Between it being apple rather than berry, and the crumble mix, it was disappointing. Over all our meal and the service was very disappointing. New chef? New wait staff? This meal and the service was not up to 315 M&T's old standards.
My husband and I are both hospitality so we can be critical of the smallest things. Couldn't find a thing.... Loved it. A little loud on the noise but that happens when you get older ;)
We were looking for something lighter for dinner. My husband and I went with our 23-year-old son and had a great time. The service was great! The tapas were over the top amazing! and our server was friendly and took good care of us. This restaurant is set in an older home in the center of Coeur d'Alene. It's wonderful! We will definitely be back when we return to Coeur d'Alene. If you go to Coeur d'Aene don't miss this terrific find!
Disappointed, usually it has very good food.
We have eaten there several times in the past it the food was very good. We will try it again but not on Valentines or any other holiday. The paper and internet said glass of wine included with the $45 valentines special but we were told misprint so they did not honor it. It was over priced for what we received! Salad and appetizers were good. My AHI tuna was overcooked was barely pink in middle had to ask for the wasabi which said on menu it came with. My rice was not good and the asparagus was overdone but eatable. Husband had chicken and it was very good , his whole meal was.
You can't go wrong
If you are looking for a cozy dining experience with great food, creative martinis and excellent service this is the place. It is by far our favorite restaurant in town.
Food was mediocre at best, and not worth the price
Service was decent, and venue and music were great. However, I'm surprised by other reviews because we found the food to be lacking in quality all around. We started with a cheese board, which should be straight-forward, but it was served with unripe rock hard pears. We shared a house salad next, which would have been really good if not for more unripe pears and too much dressing. Chicken lettuce wraps would have been the best part of the meal, had it not been for the stale rice noodles. The Dungeness crab cakes, which are $16 for two, were way too salty and over worked (no lumps of crab) - I couldn't take more than a bite or two. I'm certain the crab came from a can, which is unacceptable for the Northwest. Our Saturday evening tapas experience comes down to complete inattention to detail by the kitchen staff. Scratch is our go-to restaurant in Coeur d'Alene, and we won't waver from it again.
Cozy atmosphere, great Jazz/blues live music, very tasty food and wonderful drinks, great service. They turned the lights down low and lit the candle on our table which was a nice touch. Just what our long-overdue date night needed! We will definitely be back!
Had a great time
Took a date here for our second. It was not busy at all for a Friday after Christmas. Nice ambiance, pretty quiet so good for conversation and we enjoyed the food.
We were new to tapas and loved it. We ordered five different tapas plates and each one was outstanding. Service was fabulous. We would definitely come here again.
Way too loud...
Dined here with family from out of town, on a Friday night. The food is really creative and delicious. Their ahi tuna is especially excellent. I had banana bread pudding, though, that was really dry (yes...pudding, dry). Other desserts were outstanding. My big beef was that we spent well over $200 on dinner for five, but had to shout at each other to be heard. The singer was very talented, but had his amp blaring, and seemed more into himself and his music, then providing music for diners who--though it may seem controversial--want to interact with one another. Management... if you are listening (please be listening!), your room is way too small to have music that loud. It ruined an otherwise delightful evening.
As always, 315 is a great setting to enj ...
As always, 315 is a great setting to enjoy a relaxing, romantic dinner. My wife and I both enjoy a restaurant without bright lights and crowds of people all trying to talk over each other; 315 is just that kind of place. You can sit, relax, and enjoy some good conversation and great food with a feeling of privacy in a public place.
