208 Rodeo Ratings and Reviews

Great experience today (Easter Sunday) at 208 Rodeo. I'm drawing on our server's name but she was absolutely fantastic; quick, informative and very friendly. The food was fantastic and the ambience was wonderful! Will certainly be back again!
I must say that I was very pleased with the food at this restaurant. It was my first visit with a special person that I wanted to impress and the food did the job.
Loved it and so did my Yorkie.
I found this place on the "Bring Fido" app. Great food, service, and people watching. Most importantly (to me) - dog friendly. They even brought my little guy a cup of water.
Great food and service perfect location
Stopped by for lunch while shopping on Rodeo Drive. Perfect location to people watch. Food was excellent with very attentive service. I will visit again the next time in the area.
Elegant Little Gem
408 Rodeo is a small, sweet restaurant with a great view of the Beverley Wilshire. The wait staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. My breakfast was divine. The Scottish and a Bloody Mary. The flavors were on point. I highly recommend 408 Rodeo.
Great for a casual evening out on rodeo
very good service, the staff was very friendly. The food was great quality, but there wasn't very much to choose from. I went here around 6:30 with a girlfriend after an afternoon of shopping on rodeo, and we really had a great time here. Will definitely be coming back.
Overall Restaurant value
The out door and indoor setting is so cramped, you'll be sharing a long table with the other guests side by side, food took a very long time to be served, food tastes mediocre and rediculously expensive for its taste and accommodation; I don't mind paying high as long as long as it's tasty, not miniature portion and serve in time -
We waited for over 1 hour just to get our appetizer, our waiter did not check on us even after i told him of the delay, the service people actually helped us out. Had to get a manager involved to get our food
The tables were too close to each other, making it very uncomfortable for privacy for all the couples, to the point where I extended my leg and I accidentally stepped on the shoe of the person on the table next to us. The food was good but I didn't find all that to be $90 per person plus a $8 charge for a bottle of water. And including a 15% tip in the bill didn't seem very professional either. The service was good, nothing outstanding either. What I did like was the live singer and the location.
Just love this resturant!!!
We are crazy for this eatery. Great food, great service... they gave us our favorite table... and GREAT MUSIC! The best tunes ever.. don't go here cus we want it to ourselves.
Absolutely amazing service and food.

Little, charming place, with conventional but well prepared food. Both, inside and terrace seating are pleasant. Service is fast and attentive.

The tomahawk steak was worth every penny! Easily the most expensive steak I have ever ordered, and I did not regret! Outdoor seating was nice, a little cramped, but not bad as it wasn't that busy. Bread and olive oil combo was fresh and amazing! Overall would highly recommend to anyone.

The lime and lemon concoction was amazing and perfect for the time of day. The steak sandwich was so succulent served with the side of baby arugula. Our server and the host were accommodating and friendly throughout our time there, even taking pictures of us when requested. Awesome experience.

Pefect birthday dinner!
We had a great time celebrating my birthday dining on the terrace on December 22. Service and food was excellent. The view that included holiday decorations made the ambiance magical. Thank you for a great table and a delightful evening!

Awful, Awful, AWFUL!
They offer a $10 coupon if the customer writes a good review on yelp.. Which tells me that this is their tactic to fight against stream of bad reviews they are getting. Charging 20% mandatory service tip is horrible. And we had to leave s tip for the waitress on top of that. we only had 2 people eating, not 8. Tourists will grudgingly pay this, because they are traveling and will never return. But not us, the locals. We will NEVER return to this restaurant. Food was burnt, and wrong orders came out.
A hit and a miss
Eating outdoors in December was a treat in itself, surrounded by all the holiday revelers enjoying themselves. Perfect ambiance. Unfortunately, the meal didn't do justice to the surroundings. I ordered the seafood salad, which was so salty it was inedible. I could hear my teeth crunching the salt crystals! The server, a lovely young woman, insisted the meal be replaced (I was just going to order something else) which was generous since it was priced at $36. The second try was a little better, but after asking for some lemon wedges to counter balance the salt, I took most of it home, where I tossed it. Frankly, I felt a little badly for the server, or otherwise I would have left the 2nd meal on the plate. My guest's pasta was just right though. I'd certainly return, but would re-think my menu selection. Oh, and be reminded they add 15.5% tip. I added an additional amount in deference to the server's attention, but the people at the table next to us realized they were about to tip on top of the mandatory tip, then caught themselves.

Excellent food and experience from start to finish. We love this place for the location alone, but they always find a way to make our meal special too. Top-notch service, a nice wine list, and delicious food in a beautiful setting. What more can you ask for?
Wife and I celebrated our one year anniversary in Hollywood/Beverly Hills by staying just blocks down from Rodeo. After my Wife had fun shopping we decided to have lunch at 208 Rodeo, next door to Tiffany's. We shared lunch with friends and we were satisfied with both the food and drink selection. We sat outside as the restaurant looked a bit crowded inside. Overall a good place to unwind after shopping!
Thanksgiving dinner, 4 course or limited off menue...we did a bit of both between the 6 of us. Minestrone was fabulous, kale salad was...well kale, but good. All entres were beautiful and quite delicious to eat! The desert tray was to die 4....my favorite was the canoli. A bit pricey but definitely will return, sans the 4 kids, and will sample some of the wines they offer
Great location wonderful food!

Goiod for people watching
But not on a very hot day. Service is friendly. Food is good but totaly overpriced. You are paying for the adress. But occasionally....GO FOR IT!
Great place year round!
Always great food and terrific service! The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating.
The food was good and the portions are large. You're definitely paying for the location. They automatically put 15.5 gratuity on your bill so hopefully your service will be good.
Great restaurant in fantastic location
208 Rodeo offers a fantastic selection of hearty food, each of the dishes we had were very tasty. The location is fantastic, located just off Rodeo Drive and overlooking The Beverley Wilshire hotel from the outdoor seating area. The server was knowledgeable and made some great recommendations - particularly in relation to wine.
Huge disappointment. Extremely overpriced, especially considering the skimpy portions, child-sized, poor flavoring and being unfulfilled, one must quickly find another restaurant. For example, a lobster roll is generally $20 at most westside restaurants, including Santa Monica Seafood, but here it was $24. My $21 burger came w/ only a salad -- not French fries -- for an additional $3 or $4. Ridiculous! My friend's $24 pasta entrée consisted of five dollar sized pieces. Period. Never again! Worst restaurant in Beverly Hills -- and we have dined at most of the best.
Will def go back
Came to LA for the week and I must say that this was the best breakfast I had hands down. Steak and eggs is a must try .... And I always recommend for champagne drinkers to try 'Pretty Woman' will def be going back when I return xxx Tishka from the Bahamas
We had a lunch meeting here and the food was fantastic. The Italian sodas are divine. The desserts were incredible! Try the tiramisu cake. It's delicious.
Fancy terrace dinner!
th place is amazing, it transport you to Europe. Food is pretty good and so it's the service. Try to stay away of the temptation of the really pricy especials

Relaxing evening on the patio
This is our second time to dine at Rodeo 208 and I was not disappointed. It was wonderful! Great, friendly service and the entrees were delicious and reasonably proportioned. We sat on the patio where they had live music, it was very nice and energetic. I'm from the Midwest, so I didn't care for how close the tables were placed next to each other, but not a big deal. I plan to return.
Beverly Hills hot spot
Sitting outside here feels like you are on a movie set! All the wait staff look like actors or models. Food is delicious and atmosphere on outdoor patio is lively and fun!
I love this Restaursnt. It has a great selection and the food is excellent. Great quality. Great service. Great ambiance and is located in the heart of Beverly Hills.
